I walk with the waitress to our booth, she hands me a menu and takes my drink request. Mia sits in front of me looking down at her drink. "I already ordered for us." She doesn't look at me.

"Thanks, I thought the guy was supposed to do that in the date-,"

"This isn't a date." She stays distant.

"Look I just wanted to get to know you and trust me there is a lot I need to know, I don't go running my mouth like the other blond wanna be's." she finally looks at me. Her brown eyes clear and, and beautiful. Our food comes and a refill on our drinks.

"What do you want to know, and you trust me I'll know when you open your mouth." She takes a drink and I swallow the cheesed filled pasta noodles. Jesus this is mouth watering.

"Your sisters with Lydia?" she nods "What's it like living with Regina George?" she tries to hide her smile behind her hand.

"Good one, its hell. Well living in that house is a whole hell itself. No one knows we're related though." She stirs the noodles around.

"How does you folks think about that?" she smirks.

"They couldn't agree with that more. Lydia sold them some story how she'd get bullied and I'd get bullied. Besides they started to hide me long before Lydia wanted to."

"Why do they hide you? It's not like your hideous." I can see the slight blush when she looks down.

"Mom went out and told George she had errands to run at work when really she went out on a girls night, got too drunk did some guy in the bathroom, and went home and gave George a go." She cringes along with me.

"Nine months later out popped me. Somehow she persuaded George, Lydia's father, that I was his. Don't get me wrong George is great and he's probably the only one in that horrid house that pays somewhat attention to me, he always gives me money so I don't feel bad. It's a bit of a plus sometimes, that family is pure drama. They have so many rivals I lost count of all the broken nails." I laugh at how she can joke at a sad excuse of a family. Then I remember George's agreement.

"That must suck."

"Look I'm not a witch or a wizard from some imaginary school where no one freaking graduates. I can't tell you what I am or that'd be putting your life in danger. So why are we here, if this is some stupid waste of time because you feel sad for me I don't need your pity." Her eyes flash blue and she stands from the table.

She walks out the door and I panic. The bill is already paid on the table and the room starts to come alive. I rush to the door and look around the crowded sidewalks. I spot the top of her black hood cutting to the park. I run across the street dodging honking cabs.

"Mia!" she starts walking faster. I finally get close and grab her arm.

"Just leave me alone!" she struggles in my hold. "What do you want!?" she gets loose but when I grab hold of her again we tangle and we're both crashing to the ground. She doesn't stop and we're practically wrestling on the floor in the middle of the park.

"Just stop." I finally lock her hands with mine and pin her underneath me. "Stop!"

"What do you want? You want assignments that are due? Homework, test answers what? What do you want!?" she finally surrenders and looks at me.

"I..just...wanted a damn... date" I get out through the pants. I fall next to her as I try to catch my breath just as her.

"Just tell me why?" she turns her head to me. I lean on an elbow to support me up.

"I wasn't planning on using you or anything, I just...I just want to get to know you. They told me how you don't have friends." I looked down but I looked back up when heard her small laughter, "What? What's so funny?"
