"Mia!" the shaking of my comfortable sleeping body is accompanied by the slightly less annoying voice.

"Lydia. Shut ... up." Harry groans and Lydia starts to bounce on my back.

"Lydia it's too early." I laugh as they start to fight next to me.

"Come on its Christmas eve and Mia we have traditions to up hold!" she whinny voice pulls me out of bed and once she sees me up she leaves and I flop back on the bed.

After Lydia dragging me out of bed we start up the so called traditions. Mom and Lydia start mixing the cookie batter and dad sits with me at the piano. Mom shouts songs at us and like her puppet we oblige. Dad sings jingle bells the best he can and I try not to laugh as I press on the keys.

When dad leaves the living room I continue to play. I forgot how much I loved this big'ol piece. Dad bought it because he wanted me to have a hobby than to be stuck in a room doing nothing. Rough hands squeeze my shoulders and cold moist lips kiss the base of my neck.

"Morning." He sits next to me as I continue the simple Christmas carol. "You are one full of secrets." I lean my head on his shoulder.

"I love you." I whisper, I really do I can't seem to think about how life was without him. I can't remember what the feeling of being alone felt like. My heart has a beat and it's only for him. He's brought so much out of me I can't explain. I have a relationship with my sister, I have friends who actually don't feel bothered when I'm around, the constant teasing and name calling is in the past. I'm happy and it's all because of him.

"I love you too." There's a long lingering pause before he speaks up. "Mia if I told you something that would sound so bad so horrible would you still stay with me to fix everything?" when I sit up he has his head down and his eyes closed.

"Harry what is it?" he doesn't open his eyes and lets out a big sigh.

"It's nothing I was just wondering."

"Mia!" my mother calls and I kiss his cheek and he gives me the same smile his mom gave me.

"I remember when Mia was three and she used to sit next to me and watch me as I put my makeup on. One day I walked in she was sat in my spot and swiping the little brushes and say she wants to be pretty like mommy." I blush at the child memory and the way my mother and I bonded.

"Harry got in my make up once too, Gemma never let him live it down." Ann joins in as we are sat in the living room looking at the fire place snacking on cookies we made this morning. After dinner we all kind of ended up here.

I sat in the love seat with Harry with my legs on his lap and I leaning on his chest. I love this, close and comfortable. I can hear his heart beat and feel the vibration of his laughter. I can't wait to take that next step in our relationship tomorrow.

"Mum once tried to cut my hair herself and let's say it's when I formed my beanie habit." We all laugh and harry and Ann bicker back and forth.

"Dad let me cut my hair by myself ... I was 4 so I think you can tell the outcome." Lydia says and Dad just shakes his head with a grin.

I pick up my wine flute and speak up. "I'd like to make a toast." Everyone picks up their drinks and look at me. "Before 10 months ago I- I'm not going to lie I couldn't wait to get the hell out of here. But 10 months ago I didn't have someone in my life to show me the light. 10 months ago to this day I met this afro headed dork who wouldn't stop, who pushed to get me to talk. He was so weird and annoying but that's what I love about him." I turn to Harry. "He brought out a relationship with people that I'm glad to have. Ten months ago I would have never known my sister wasn't and evil witch or that my mom just wanted to light up my wardrobe."
