The bus pulled to a stop, and I was the first to get off. But that didn't help because our bus was the last one, and tons of people were swarming off their buses. I kept my head down and quickly walked towards the school, without my attention in front of me I bumped into someone. "I'm sorry!" I said kneeling down and helping the person pick up their stuff.

Standing up, I handed the items to the person and took in who they were. She was in my grade, had a sparkly pink skirt, a white shoulder less shirt, and white bedazzled pumps. She had wavy blonde hair, blue eyes, and was also the person I hated the most. "Oh welcome to our school, I'm Bree and the one person you don't cross in this school. Bye!" She took her stuff and walked away.

I looked at her shocked, did she not recognize me? The person that she's gossiped about ever since kindergarten? The girl out of many she couldn't stand? I quickly hurried inside to get stares from everyone.

"Who's the new girl?"

"New girl alert."

"Who's that?"

"I call being friends with her first!"

"Bet she's gonna be the next Barbie."

No one knew who I was, just as I thought that three people blocked my path. One was Nichole, and her just as bratty BFFS, Chrystal and Rosie. All three of them looked like barbies, except with a fake smile and is never actually nice. "Hey! I'm Bree, as I told you before. This is Rosie and Chrystal." They both flashed me a smile. I glared at them. "Duh I know who you are. I've been going t this school before you did. Don't you recognize me?!" I questioned them.

They tilted their heads and squinted their eyes. Chrystal gasped, "It's that girl!!! She's not new, she's unpopular!" She shrieked. I rolled my eyes, "My name is Jessica, now if you don't mind I have to get to class." I pushed past them and went to my locker where Eve and Ashlyn were waiting. "Jessica!?!?!" They both asked in unison.

I nodded and shoved my stuff in my locker. "Hey guys." Eve was short, wore grey sweats, sneakers, brown eyes, deeply tanned skin, and her black kinky hair pulled back in a bun. Ashlyn was average height, wore baggy jeans, a hoodie that was five sizes to big, sneakers, brown hair, pale skin, freckles, and braces. They were my best friends, and my only ones. They looked the same as last year, except Ashlyn who had her eye brows plucked because of me.

"I know, I looked stupid." They both nodded, and I smiled at them. "What happened?" Eve asked, "I thought your mom knew you hated this stuff." I shut my locker, "I thought so too...anyway I'll see you in home room." I searched the class rooms to find room 126, Mrs. Davis. She was a tall and bony woman with grey streaks in her almost white, blonde hair. She had tired green/blue eyes, and teaches Language Arts. I sat down and put my binder and laptop on the floor, and placed my water bottle on my desk. This was my first period also, so I could get comfortable.

Eve and Ashlyn walked in and sat on both sides of me. Mrs.Davis slowly passed out schedules, and I read mine over.

A Days

Period 1- Language Arts with Mrs. Davis

Period 2- Science with Mr. Williams

Period 3- Social Studies with Ms. Grate

Period 4- Gym with Mr. Lee and Ms. Anderson

Period 5- Lunch

Period 6- Math with Mr. Clark

On B Days I have the exact same classes except Gym is replaced with Art, my favorite class taught by Ms. Adams. Eve, Ashlyn, and I swapped schedules and turns out I have every class with them, except for Math and Language Arts. At least most of my classes had my friends in them. I smiled a real smile for the first time today, but that quickly faded when Bree sashayed into the room with her friends behind her. Then they did something unexpected, they sat in front of me and passed me a pink note.

Cautiously I reached out and opened the note. In pink glittery ink it said:

Rebecca,

We need to talk. See us at lunch.

-Bree, Chrystal, and Rosie

I stared at the note in disbelief, Rebecca isn't even my name and they have the nerve to tell me to meet them at lunch?? I put the note aside and brought my attention back to class, let's get this over with.
