A boy I didn't recognize ran inside, "THE POLICE ARE HERE, EVERYBODY RUN!!!" He shouted running out the back door. Everyone started screaming, and next thing I knew I was on the floor with feet pounding on the ground next to me. Struggling to get up I saw barely anyone was in the room, they all had fled.

Red and blue lights flashed through the windows, and I started to panic. Pulling off my heels I ran out the back door and jumped the fence, landing hard on my knees. Dirt and grass stained my legs as I ran in between the houses, heels in hand. I know, not the first thing you'd think when running from the cops.

Why were they even here? It's not an illegal party, nobody did anything wrong right? RIGHT!? Thought after thought raced through my head as I darted past trees and homes. My feet gained dirt, and I thought everything might turn out alright.

That was until I ran across a tree root. It all went in slow motion, my ankle twisted sideways, my shoes flew out of my hands, and my head hit a rock making a loud thump. Black creeped around the edges of my vision, and I slowly staggered to my feet, scooping up my heels, and stumbling around.

Placing my hand on the side of a house, I slowly made my way to the front of the yard, praying the police weren't near here. My vision became blurry, and I squinted to see the mailbox number. 15 Maple Creek Rd. This is Ashlyn's house, my ex best friend.

My eye lids grew heavy as I went to the front door, and grasped the handle tightly, letting it support my weight. Twisting the knob, I found that it was locked. My legs feel tingly and I quickly pounded the doorbell. It opened, and I heard a gasp. Both Ashlyn and Eve stood in the doorway.

"Help-" That was my last word before my vision went black, and I crumpled to the ground.
