I was five minutes early to class, so I took a free seat in the front of the room. Straight A students gotta pay attention right? Pulling out my stuff I watched as everyone filed into class, with their backpacks in their lockers, and their binders in their hands. I eagerly waited for class to start as Mrs.Davis walked in. "Hello class! It's so nice to see you here, now today we will be reading in our Literature books. So take them out, and we'll discuss more about them next class." She said cheerily handing out textbooks.

I opened mine, and started reading. "Mrs.D? Can Jay sit back here with us? She wanted to ask but she's too shy." I heard Bree say from the back of the room. "Who is Miss Jay?" Mrs.Davis asked, not sure who to send to the back. "Oh, my bad. I meant Jessica, Jay is her nickname!" Bree said cheerfully.

"Oh of course, Jessica you can go to the back if you'd like." She said going back to her desk and sitting down. Slowly I gathered my things and moved to sit in the back of the class. There, a note was waiting for me, it read. "Your popular now, you sit with us. -Bree, Rosie, and Chrystal" I rolled my eyes and continued to read in the text book.

Soon enough, the bell rang. I hurriedly took my things and went to Science, little did I know this would be the worst period of the day.

Walking into the class I immediately spotted Ashlyn, and Eve. Lucky for me no popular girls were in the class! (Mental high-five) About to go sit with them, a rough hand pulled me to the other side of the room. Smack dab in the middle of the jocks. Oh no.

I looked to who took my hand to see Noah pulling me to them, and Blake carrying my things. After being shoved into a seat, and my things put in front of me, I got comfortable. Well, as comfortable as I could being surrounded by people I despise. Looking at my two ex friends, they were both laughing and talking with each other. Living their lives without me.

Shaking my head, I grabbed my stuff and walked to the front of the room. "Mr. Williams? Can I go to the nurse please? I feel sick." He nodded, and pointed to a sheet of paper hung on the wall, "Sign out." I walked over and quickly scribbled my name, where I was going, and what time it was.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to leave class for no reason. I really was sick, sick of what's going on. To the point where I feel like I'm going to pass out or throw up. Hurrying out of the room, I headed to the nurse.

Entering the office, I set down my bags by the door and walked to the nurse. She was a petite woman with her hair pulled into a tight bun, and a nurses uniform. Her name was Mrs.Davie. She smiled at me as I approached her. "What is the problem?" She asked.

"I don't feel very good,  can I have some ginger ale to help my stomach?" She nodded and poured me a cup. "Of course honey, and you can stay as long as you want." She said leading me to a place to lay down, before heading back to her desk.

Before she could sit down, she stopped in her tracks, and looked at me again. "Tell me, what's your name?" I looked at her a little strange, "Jessica." Her face matched mine, confused. "Now I see your problem. But for now you have to do the right thing Jessica, stand up for yourself. If you can't do that, then find a way to trick those girls into leaving you alone."

She said taking my empty plastic cup, and ushering me out the door with my stuff. She gave me one last smile, "Be yourself." She said before closing the door. I stared at the door, she must have recognized me. The girl with hoodies, sweatpants, and only two friends. The better, old me.

I was about to leave when the door opened to the nurses office, and poked her head out. "I called your mom and she will be here in 5 minutes to pick you up and take you home. In the meantime, try and think of ways to help." She said. I smiled at her, she somehow knew what was going on. "Thanks."
