We are on our way to Kyoto. It's a bigger city than the one I was living in and the school I'm going to is a lot bigger. I look out of the car window. Outside there isn't much to see. We took a scenic route, so i guess technically there is stuff, but im not really observing. Im uninterested in this whole "scenic" thing."Okaasan?"
"Yes, Sweetheart?"
"Do you think I'll make friends? I mean, I am going to a bigger school and no one will know me there..."
"You'll be just fine. Just ask Kioské. Im sure he'll give you some pointers."
"Ma! I'm not going to ask my COUSIN for pointers on getting a friend!" I reply, blushing immediately.
Okaasan laughs, "Very well. Have it your way. I'm sure there are plenty of people who will want to be your friend."
"Right..." I rest my head on my hand and stare out of the window once more. I slowly nod in and out of consciencness. Before I know it, I'm asleep.
{Dream land.... dreams will be bold at all times.}
Where am I?
I look around me, but see nothing but complete darkness. I can't see anything.
A spotlight beams down on an object in the distance. I walk over to it. The object is a small music box.
The music box is a smaller version of a piano. It is white and looks antique. It has gold disigns on it's legs and its upper keys. I wind up the music box and it fills the silence by playing a beautiful melody.
"Unchained Melody." I say, smiling.
I used to listen to that song to fall asleep when I was younger. It always calmed me, still does actually.
I find myself humming along to the song.
"Whoa, my love . . .
My darlin'
I've hungered, hungered
for your touch . . ." It wasn't my voice that was singing. It was someone else's voice. It was deep, male, and damn right sexy. (A/N I do NOT mean the actual singer is singing this!!)
What am i saying! It was a male singing! You can't think like that! Youre straight! Youre straight!
The more i repeated the words, the less i believed them. The voice kept singing and got better and better. The song ended abruptly.
~out of the dream now!!~
I'm woken up by a large bump. I wake, startled. I look around at my surroundings. We've just pulled into a parking lot to a fast food restraunt.
"Oh, sorry, Yui. Did I wake you?" Okaasan asks.
"Oh, no, think nothing of it. It looks as though we've made it to Kyoto?" I reply, smiling. "Oh, a food place! Good, I'm starved!"
Okaasan parks the car in front of the restraunt. We both get out of the car. I walk in front of my mother and open the door for her.
"Milady :)" I say in a mock gentleman's voice.
"Why thank you, kind sir!" She laughs.
We go to the counter and order our food.
~ Time Skip ~
We've finished and are heading to our new home. Okaasan never told me what our house looked like, but that doesnt matter. As long as I don't have to share a room with my soon-to-be little brother or sister. I honestly didnt care whether it's a boy or girl, i just want a sibling.
We arrive at our new house. Its small, but has one second story window, dibs. I like it. It's a baby blue color with white trim. It had 3 steps coming to the front porch that led to the front door. Dad is already here. He must have showed up about an hour ago. The back of the moving truck is open with not quite half of it's contents missing. He must already be bringing it inside.
Me and Okaasan walk into the house and find my father setting down a load of boxes. He looks up at us and smiles.
"Ah! My little blue-haired boy and my wonderful wife!" He says.
"Daaaad! I dyed my hair so I would'nt get made fun of for being blonde! Not to be made fun of by you!" I reply, joking. I shake my head. "Can i have a tour of the place? Before I help with the boxes?"
"Sure thing, I already decided you're getting the top floor. Its really just a half floor, the perfect size of a room for a growing teen!" Dad laughed.
"Thanks, Dad!" I run up the stairs and observe the room.
It's got some work to do, that's for sure. It has all white walls, which I can paint and cover with pictures, paintings, and posters. The floor is dark hardwood. It'll be cold in the mornings, but I think I can deal with it. This is the perfect room. The window is huge and revealing, but I'll put up curtains. This will definitely do nicely.
I race back down the stairs, out of the house, and to the truck. I dig around until I find my boxes. I grab one at a time since they're so big and heavy. I have 10 boxes all with just my stuff, then I have 2 luggage which hold all my clothes. Once I've carried all my stuff to my room, I immediately start unpacking.
I know I have a whole weekend to unpack, but I want to get this done and over with. Oh! I almost forgot! I still need to help Dad carry my bed and dresser up here. Then I can really start unpacking.
I walk back downstairs, "Hey, Dad? Can we bring my bed up now? And my dresser too?"
Dad sighs, "Sure thing, Ao." He smiles at his horrible joke. ( for those who don't know.. Ao = blue in Japanese)
We carry my bed and dresser up to my room, which takes about 30 minutes. I told Dad I could carry my mattress by myself and that he could continue getting his and Okaasan's stuff.

I'm going to stop there... I'm tired. It's 3am right now and I spent like an hour writing this because I didn't know what to write. Alright! I'll get to work on the next part for ya loves. Buh-bye!
