I wake up on an unfamiliar couch. I look around and realize I'm at Yuichi's house. But where is Yui? I stretch and look around for Yui, but I can't see him. I get off of the couch and wander upstairs to his bedroom.
I see Yuichi passed out on the floor next to a cardboard box with its contents spread around carelessly. He is clinging onto a small wooden box. I know that box. I didn't think he kept all that stuff.
I kneel down next to him and pry the box out of his grip, careful not to wake him. I examine it and memories come back.
"Yui! Yui!"
Yui turns and faces me, he was bumping a volleyball against a wall. "What, Ichiru?"
"I made you a present!" I hand him a small wooden box with the word Forever on the top.
"A box?"
"Yeah! Everyday I'm going to give you a note, and you're going to put it in that box! Then, when you're sad, you can read them and remember happy things!"
"Oh! Thanks a bunch!" He plants a sweet kiss on my cheek.
"I love you, Yui-chan!"
"I love you too, Ichiru."
I laugh at the memory. Yuichi hasn't changed much since middle school, he's always been a child at heart. But, he was always so happy. I hate seeing him this way.
I want him to be happy again. I want him to leave his dark void and come back into the light. I'd do anything for Yuichi to be happy again.
I read some of the little notes I put in the box. Some of them made me smile and some made me laugh. I hope they did the same for Yui.

Hey guys! I know it was short, it was just a little thing that I wanted to write down. The rest will come soon I hope.
Also, the end is very near! I'm going to end this book! But I will be writing another one of these.
Please comment whether you would like a sequel or a prequel next! It would mean a lot! Also, don't forget to vote!
Bye, and don't worry, there's...
More To Come!
