The last couple of days that I've been in Mewni have been great. Star, her parents, and myself have been going out to places almost everyday. I was actually getting along really well with her parents. Star was enjoying herself as well, even though she says that her parents are a pain. I was just happy that she was having an amazing. Star hasn't told them about our relationship because she's waiting for the right moment apparently. I wanted to do it, but she insisted that she'd tell them. Today was our last day in Mewni and we were all sitting down to have lunch. The servants of the castle were serving our meals, and Star sat next to me while her mom sat at the furthest ends of the table. There was complete silence though, Star gave me a serious look before she broke the silence. I saw Star sigh to herself as she closed her eyes. I knew what was coming, but I wasn't ready for it.

"Mom." Star said emotionlessly.
"Yes Darling?" Her mom responded back.
"There's something I need to tell you, but I don't want you to freak."
"Why? Did something bad happen?" Her mom said with a worried look on her face.
"No!" Star said abruptly. "It's just that what I'm about to tell you means a lot to me." I honestly couldn't stop smiling when she said that, knowing that she was talking about me.
"Well what is it?" Her mom said.
"Well, how do I put it? I'm...um dating Marco." She turned to me as soon as she said my name. Her mom in the other hand was really shocked, it was written all on her face. Her face changed from being shocked to genuinely happy. I didn't know what to think at that moment. I was shocked to see that her mom seemed so happy about the news.

"Star I'm so happy for you!" Her mom said in excitement.
"Thanks Mom!" Star said laughing while she hugged her mom. I was honestly glad that her mom was okay with it, but what about her dad? "Oh Star, did you tell your father the news?" "Well... um.. I was getting to that." She looked so nervous that she started to sweat. I really didn't understand what was her problem. "You didn't tell him did you?" Her mom said, having a smirk on her face. "Well, it's not as easy as it looks, you know how dad gets." Star said pouting. All of the sudden the doors burst open and Star's dad appeared. "My princess is home!" River screamed to the top of his lungs. Star looked really nervous and started to shake a little. River ran to Star and gave her a bear hug, he also said hi to me as well. "Why didn't you tell me that you were coming?" River said excitedly. "Uh, I wanted to surprise you." Star said nervously. "Dad t-there's something I need to tell you." "What is it sweetheart?" River said.              "I... um..." Star was too nervous to speak, so I decided to step in. "River." I said "What is it Marco, my boy?" "Star and I are dating." I said sternly. There was a long pause, River was just blankly staring at me. I didn't really know what to say. "What?!" He said screaming yet again. He was shocked and somewhat horrified. "This can't be! My little girl is being taken away from me!" He said dramatically. "River stop acting so dramatic." Star's mom said, scolding him. "Ugh! Fine." River said, grunting. "It's just that my little girl is growing up so fast." He said.
"Marco I trust you, but if I hear that you break my daughters heart, there will consequences." He looked at me sternly and I felt like I was gonna piss my pants.
"Dad he gets it, you don't have to tell him that." Star said, irritated.
"I'm just saying." He said. River started to get back into his energetic and bubbly mood.
"Marco I'm sorry, you know how Dad is." She said, holding my hand.
"It's cool, I get where he's coming from."
"Are you sure?!"
"Yeah."
