Hey there!
I just got tagged by @IsilwenofRivendell! Thank you so much for the tag! ;-)
I've been tagged before, but I (honestly) didn't really know what to do after someone tagged me. (I know it's really bad...) Thanks anyway to all the persons who tagged me before!
It's a Middle-Earth tag so if you don't know/care about Tolkien's awesome works or if you don't care about me (which is totally fine) this 'chapter' is pretty skippable. Next will be the others for the violence-preference! If you're skipping this then: bye! Catch you later!
If you're not skipping this: Yay! Thanks for reading this far!
Here we go!
#1: what was your first introduction to Lotr?
My first introduction to Lotr is my sister. She became a crazy fan and she told me about it. In the beginning I wasn't really impressed by the story, but after a while I became the crazy fangirl I am today! And I'm really thankful to be in this awesome fandom right now!
#2: Have you ever read the books?
Yeah! And I'm planning on reading them again since they're so amazing! And I loved to hold that very thick book in my hands with these thin papers... oh goosebumps! Though it was a bit less pleasant to take that heavy thing to school everyday... oh well...
#3: Which version of the movies do you prefer, the extended or the theatrical version?
Extended! Totally! I think that version is so much better because scenes like when Éowyn and Faramir were so cute together should definetely have made it to the film! They're worth watching!
#4: Who's your favourite character and why?
Why do you ask me this question??? Why?! I don't know! I really love Elrond, Lindir, Haldir, Celeborn, Thranduil, Feren and Galadriel! I really love the Elves but I also love all the Hobbits (except Lobelia Sack-ville Baggins, grrr) and I really like Gimli and Bofur! And Aragorn, Pippin, Treebeard, Gandalf, Faramir and Bilbo and almost everyone else! But I must say Elrond is my favourite because of his calmness and wisdom and awesomeness. Though Sam is the person I want to become. He's full of bravery and kindness, loyalty and hope. Oh Sam... And don't forget Éowyn!
#5: Which other Middle-Earth book have you read?
I've only read The Hobbit and Lotr since I'm afraid of the Silmarion and haven't got the time yet to read the others. Busy life!
#6: What part in the movies would you change if you could?
I would place Tom Bombadil in the film since I really love him and I'd like some more Elrond-time in the film. And Elros should at least be mentioned! Oh, and Faramir didn't take Frodo and Sam to Gondor! That should be changed too! And I would make Thranduil/ Elrond sing. Wow... that'd be great... *sighs dreamily*
#7: What is your favourite scene in the film and why?
Oh that one is simple: The whole film. Except the scene when Golum/ Sméagol throws away the Lembas bread and Sam gets the blame: I can't stand injustice! And I really love all the scenes with the Elves and the counting scenes from Legolas and Gimli. And the scenes in the Shire and the drinkingscenes of course! Cheers!
#8: How would you rate your addiction to Lotr? With Aragorn being the lowest and Golum/Sméagol being the highest.
Just a little bit under the Golum/Sméagol state. Middle-Earth is my life! Gandalf, if you're reading this, take me to Middle-Earth before I'm old! Take me there, please! ;-)
Oh, and Gandalf, nice hat!
#9: If you could be any character, who would you be and why?
I don't want to be someone else. I want to be myself while I'm in that fandom. But otherwise I'd like the be Elrond's or Thranduil's wife. Or Galadriel. Being an Elf would be great, having amazing sences and looking damn fine while you live in the most beautiful places of Middle-Earth. Being wise and graceful like they are...
Rosie is also fine by me, then I will hae a loving husband and a happy life in the Shire!
Here are my tags:
I probably forgot one or two persons, sorry!
Catch you later!
