In the little rays of light, I saw Sherlock looking back quite often. Every time he did so, our eyes briefly met, and I thought to see some worry in his eyes. Once, when I answered his worried look with a smile, he smiled back and did it in a gentle genuine way. But those moments of light were brief and rare, most of the time we just made our way through the darkness, shivering, shaking and worrying.

And there it was! The end of the corridor that had went up and down without a warning was finally here. Sherlock made a gesture that showed us that we must be quiet as we neared the end of this horrible hallway that had started to annoy me a lot. At the ending, Sherlock searched for a door handle in the wall and we heard him grin as he found it. Slowly, he pushed it open. This door opened much easier and faster. Sherlock could easily open it without needing anyone else's help. And there, when he opened it, about twenty masked human beings looked at the door that opened. Many pairs of eyes stared at us, some with confusion, others with hatred.

'I see we're having company.' A woman's voice said and one of the masked people rose. 'Who has come to our meeting?' I looked at Sherlock and John with fear in my eyes, but Sherlock stayed calm. 'We are fans of your work.' He said. 'And we would like to enter the Anubis group.' He added. The woman neared Sherlock, slowly, dangerously, and laughed loudly. 'Fans? Okay. Tell me, pretty boy, why would you want to join our brother- and sisterhood?' She chuckled in her words and now was close to Sherlock. 'Because there are many people I would like to deal with, but I can't do it alone.' Sherlock said mysteriously.

'And you would like our help?' She said. 'That's all? There's no loyalty to our group, nor honour to her members. There is no faith nor trust that you wouldn't tell the police about us. We have no trust in you and you are no brother of us. Why wouldn't we practise what we do best on you?' Said the woman mischievously. 'Because we want to practise along with you.' I said bravely to save Sherlock as the woman came too close. 'Really?' She said and bowed her head away from Sherlock, now facing me like a huge snake moving from its first victim to its next. 'Yes.' I said and looked at her. She hissed to me: 'And what is your excuse to join us? Vengeance? Hatred? Jealousy?'

I surprised her with my answer. 'Loyalty and excitement, adrenaline and satisfaction.' She looked at me confusedly so I explained. 'Loyalty to the group, I want to be a part of something bigger than myself. Excitement because of the happenings, the rush of the moment, the same is for adrenaline. Satisfaction to see the policemen search for clues they cannot find because you have outsmarted them.' I said and made sure to have a certain bloodthirsty look in my eyes. I tried to imitate the villains I knew and whether it looked amazing or ridiculous, it seemed to work.

'I like you.' She said. 'What are you?' A questioning look was my response. 'Your name. Everyone here has a different name for the group. Some have animals, others adjectives. What are you?' She asked again. I thought for a moment. Then, when I softly heard the voice of Detective Inspector Lestrade coming from the dark corridor, I knew it was time to arrest this group. So I had thought of a name for me and told it with a smirk on my face. 'Me? I am the Liar.'

And with that being said, all the policemen ran in and arrested the criminals with our help. Within no-time, they were all outside, handcuffs and sirens on.

*Sherlock's POV*

'Well done, Elizabeth!' I said excitedly, 'you have just found and captured Britain's unknown but most fearsome criminal group. Congratulations!' She smiled brightly at me. We were walking back to 221B as we talked. Her brown eyes shone just as happy and I found myself stare at the wonderful contrast her eyes made with her skin and her hair as she spoke. 'Oh, we did it together, the three of us.' Eliza said and smiled at John and me. Again that smile, that breathtaking smile I had waited to see for so long. 'You did most of it. That woman would have killed me if it wasn't for you coming between us and saying your well-though, though slightly creepy, speech.' I told her.
