(J’S POV)
Two weeks. It’s been two weeks since the doctors got Blake back. It’s hard to believe my baby was dead for three minutes.
Blade sat on one side of the bed, gripping Blake’s hand and I sat on the other side. He hasn’t left her side of the bed.
“You really love her, don’t you?” I ask suddenly.
“Yes sir, I hated myself every day since I left,” he said.
“Don’t break my baby, again. You hear me?”
“Y-yes sir,”
“Or else you will have everyone on your ass,” I added.
“y-yes s-sir,” he stuttered with doe-in-the-headlights eyes.
I sighed and held Blake’s hand. I will never forgive myself if she doesn’t make it! It’s my fault we were arguing!
“I’m sorry, Princess. Just please, please! Come back!” I whisper-yelled. She has already missed a month and a half of school and her birthday would be in two weeks. I can’t have my Princess unconscious on her eighteenth birthday!
I felt a twitch against my hands.
“Mmm,” someone groaned. I looked up to see Blade staring in shock.
“Was that you!?” he asked, frantically.
“No?! Was it you!?” I asked. He shook his head and pushed the nurse button.
“Yes?” the nurse asked snottily.
“Her finger twitched! And she made a noise!” Blade exclaimed.
“Alright, can I ask you two to leave the room for right now?” the nurse asked. We nodded and walked out.
“What happened?! Is she okay!?” Chris asked as he ran up to us.
“I-I don’t know. She twitched her fingers and groaned, I-I think she may be w-waking up,” I stuttered. Rose arrived a few weeks ago, so I walked over to her and laid my head on her lap while she played with my hair.
“Blake Smith?” the woman asked.
“Yes! How is she?!” I asked as I shot up.
“Relation?” the nurse asked.
“Guardian,” I replied through bared teeth.
“She is fine, now. However, she will have to stay in a mental ward for two weeks or she can go to therapy twice a week for the next four months,”
“Okay, I think the therapy will be a better option, seeing as her birthday is in less than two weeks,”
“Alright, you may see her now,” she said. Katie, Austin, Katt, and Chris were the only ones here besides Blade and I, so they called everyone.
I ran as fast as I could to Blake’s room.
“I’m so sorry Princess!” I yelled as I hugged her.
“Daddy? Why are you here? I thought you were home?” she asked groggily.
“Sweetie, you were in a coma for two and a half months,” I said quietly.
“What?! What about classes!?”
“Don’t worry, the school understands. You will just start next semester since you already did this semester online,” I whispered as I pet her hair.
“Where is Blade?! Jayy?! Dahvie!?” she asked.
“Blade is right here, Jayy and Dahv are on their way, they went to the hotel to get some sleep. Motionless, Pierce, and Of Mice all have gotten hotel rooms here, too,” she squeaked in embarrassment.
