I carefully picked Blake up and carried her to my car.  Today was her seven-month appointment and we were going to the check-up.

“Are you nervous?” I ask her as I get in the driver’s seat.

“Well, yeah.  But I shouldn’t be, right?” she furrowed her brow.

“Don’t worry, I will be here for everything, no matter what,” I grabbed her hand as we rode to the doctor’s office.

I helped Blake up, but she insisted on walking to the door.  I followed her, standing pretty close and helping her over the steps and into a chair as I signed us in.

“Blake Smith,” a lady asked a while later.  I helped Blake up and followed her to the door.  The doctor did the same thing he has been doing for the past four months.  Once Blake was done, we asked the same question.

“What are her chances?”

“Still the same,” the doctor sighed.  I sighed, as well, and helped Blake up.  She tried to pull down one of her Dad’s old shirts, but it was still too small for her.  I giggled at the sight of her, wearing an extra-large shirt that was stretched out over her swollen stomach.

“Ready to go home?” I asked her.  She nodded and a nurse brought in a wheelchair to help her out to the car.

(BLAKE’S POV)

I laid down in my bed, for once, and sighed.  Only a month and a half left to go.  Only a month and a half left to live.  Only a month and a half before my babies were here.

“Hi, I’m Jayy, I’m gay

The crazy violent faggot with aids

Well, that’s what other people say

Then it must-“

I grabbed my phone and answered it.

“Yes, Uncle Jayy?” I asked into the phone.  He and Lance were visiting Cali for a while.

“How is my favorite niece doing?” he asked.  I rolled my eyes.

“Just fine, why’d you call?”

“Was just wondering if you wanted Lance and me to come over and hang out with you.  Since you are not allowed to get out of bed…”

“Sure, as long as you bring me some tacos,”

“Alrighty, we will be there soon,” he laughed.  I hung up and turned back to the TV, where I was watching Code Geass on YouTube.

“Blakey!” Jayy squealed as he walked in.  We hugged as best we could as Lance came in holding three bags of food from Del Taco.  I was handed four chicken soft tacos after hugging Lance.  We started eating and talking about random things.

“Now, we need you to get dressed in something nice,” Lance said once we had finished.

“I don’t have anything nice that fits at the moment,” I gestured to my stomach.

“That is why we got you this!” Lance handed me a black bag.  I opened it to find a long, black stretchy dress.

“Thanks, but why am I doing this?” I asked.

“Because you love us!” Jayy laughed.

“Ok…” I said, still unsure.  I shooed them out and carefully slid on the dress.  Once it was on, I had Jayy and Lance come back in and put shoes on my feet.  I didn’t even bother to put on any makeup other than a thin line of eyeliner and left my hair straight and down.

“Where are we going?” I asked as they half carried, half helped me down the stairs.

“Somewhere,” they replied at the same time.  I was helped into the car with a blindfold tied round my head.

I felt the car move for a while.  Once we stopped, I was helped out and guided to… somewhere.  Lance took my blindfold off and I looked at the scene in front of me.  Blade was sitting at a table that had a black table cloth and red roses on it.  There was a radio in the background playing all of my favorite songs.

“Blade…” I whispered, tears coming out of my eyes.  He stood up and walked over to me.  He had on a plain black tee and black skinnies, nothing too fancy.  We hugged as best we could and sat at the table.  Blade whistled and all of BVB, Lance, and Jayy came out and brought food and Dr.  Pepper.

Once Blade and I had finished our food, we stayed sitting there, admiring the beach around us. Suddenly, Blade stood up and walked over to my side of the table.  He got down on one knee and pulled a box from his pocket.

“Blake Wolf Smith, I have loved you from the day we met.  We were fourteen, stupid, happy, and madly in love.  I was stupid to ever let you go.  I’m so glad that I found you those years later, even if I didn’t really find you,” he laughed nervously.  “I can only thank your mother for being friends with my father.  I love you and promise to never let you go.  Will you make me the happiest I’ve ever been and be my wife?”

I couldn’t speak.  Tears streamed down my face, so I just nodded rapidly.  Blade stood up, slipped the ring on my finger, and gently hugged me.  I giggled when we heard cheering from the bushes. I turned around and saw all the guys had a cell phone turned onto Skype, pointing at me.  War, Snow, Anthony, Katie, and Katt on one, Dad and Rose on one, Dahv and Tina in another, all of Motionless, all of Pierce, and all of OM&M.

“I love you,” I whispered in his ear.

“I love you, too,” he whispered as he slipped something around my neck.  I looked at it to see my promise ring on a chain.  He had his on a chain, as well.  “Just because we will be married, doesn’t mean I will ever break my promise,” he whispered.
