Don't worry about me// Calum Hood

Chapter 2

The impact made me wince. I rubbed the back of my head and I just felt it throbbing. I slowly turned to see who had pulled me and to my surprise I was once again face to face looking at those familiar chocolate brown eyes. Calum. 

"Not you again."

"Sorry about that and jeez I didn't know you were going to be that upset to see me."

"I mean how could I be glad to see you after you've made me hit myself against the wall. I didn't know that you were the type of guy that seeked revenge."

"Revenge? Oh, no! Not at all. I didn't do it because of that. I actually panicked because there was a group of girls around me and wouldn't leave me alone. I guess I still haven't adjusted to this sort of attention."

"Oh.." That's all I could manage to say. I tried to get up, but I was still dizzy so I fell back down. I then saw that Calum was giving me a hand up. When I was finally up, I then noticed my phone and his were still on the ground. I guess I hadn't noticed since I was kind of out of it. I just picked my phone up and started going towards my car. I then felt Calum tug on my wrist and spun me around so we were facing each other. 

"Stay with me. I mean let me introduce you to the guys. Only if you want to, that is." He licked his lips and then bit his lower lip as if he was nervous or something. It was really cute actually.

"Umm I don't know if that's a good idea. I.." I was then cut off when a huge group of girls surrounded the both of us. I hadn't noticed that he was still holding onto my wrist. I quickly let go because all the girls were giving me rude stares and if they had eyes set to kill, trust me I would be dead by now. I was making my way out of the crowd when I heard some girl say, "Omg who does this girl think she is? Does she think that Calum would actually like her? I mean look at her, she looks like a fucken freak."

Nothing had bothered me until she called me a freak. That's when I completely lost it. "Freak? Yes, I may dress in black most of the time and not dress like a complete slut like some people, but that in no way makes me a freak. I would say you're the delusional freak thinking that a sign that you're holding telling Calum to have your babies would actually convince him to like you. Now if you'll excuse me, I have somewhere to be."

I just saw Calum chuckle, but quickly stopped just so he wouldn't be rude. The girl was turning red. I couldn't tell if it was because I had embarrassed her in front of Calum or if she was just pissed. Maybe it was both, but I didn't care.

I plopped on my bed and I thought of sending a text to my friends just to tell them I was home already. I turned on my phone and something wasn't right. The lock screen was different. There was a picture of a girl. What the hell. This isn't my phone. That's when I realized I probably got Calum's phone. Shit, what was I supposed to do now. Then I remembered I'm going to see him tomorrow because there is going to be another concert. Maybe I could give it to him then. Ugh I don't know.

I decided it was best just to call him. Was it? Shit! I was honestly just confusing myself. Fuck it, I'm going to call him. I dialed my number and it started ringing. I don't think I have been this nervous before, but why? I was about to hang up when.. 

"Hello?"

"Umm Calum is that you?"

"Yes, who is this?"

"It's Blue. I think we must have switched phones on accident."

"Oh, I was wondering whose phone I had, but I couldn't figure it out."

"So what now, do I just give it to you tomorrow?"

"Yeah, you could come before the show starts and I can finally introduce you to the boys without interruptions this time." 

"Yeah that sounds good. I'll just call you when I get there."

"Sounds good, I'll be waiting for that call." 

And with that the call ended. I couldn't help but feel warm inside. I had this stupid smile on my face that I couldn't seem to get rid of. I didn't want to like him because I knew after the concert I was probably not going to seem him again.

I was at the venue once again and I had already called Calum. I was just waiting for him to come outside. He finally came outside and gave me hug.

"It's nice to see you again Blue." 

All I did was give him a reassuring smile. He entwined his fingers with mine and led me to meet the boys. There was three guys fighting with each other when we got to their dressing room. I think they were fighting over a stuffed animal. A tiny penguin to be exact. It was kind of entertaining watching them fight over something like that. Calum just cleared his throat. "Boys this Blue, she's the one I was talking to you guys about."  He talks about me? That just made me smile because that completely caught me off guard. He started pointing to each of them individually as he was presenting them to me. "That's Michael, Luke, and Ashton."

"Hey you said she was pretty, but boy were you wrong. She's hot," said Michael.

I saw Calum move uncomfortably. I couldn't help but laugh. "Thanks Michael. So Calum you've been talking about me?" He just gave me a half smile. I know I was making him feel uncomfortable, but he looked so adorable. 

"Talked about you? That's an understatement. He hasn't stopped talking about you and...." Luke said.

"Alright that's enough. Come on Blue I'll show you around." Calum took my hand rather harshly and he took me on stage. The venue actually looked more bigger from this point of view.

After the concert was over I was kind of sad that I wasn't going to see him again. 

"Don't worry Blue we'll see each other eventually. We are going on vacation, but if I could stay I would trust me. I already have my plane ticket or else I would spend all this time with you."

With a couple of hours who knew that we had grown so close. It hurt to see him leave me. I couldn't help but get sad.

"I know." And with that he was leaving me to who knows where.
