Chapter 13

That night Calum kept telling me to say random things. Anything that came to mind. It felt like I was a little kid that was barley learning how to speak. In a way it was kind of ridiculous, but when I saw how excited Calum was all I could think about was how happy it made him. So I obliged and kept taking his absurd requests.

Embrace the little things.

After hours of talking to Calum about things that didn't quite make sense, I told Calum that we should continue tomorrow.

In the morning I was sprawled on the bed and I heard someone coming out the bathroom. I pretended to be asleep so, I'm assuming Calum, wouldn't notice me awake. I kept my eyes in slits, barely to a point where what was in front of me was visible.

Calum came out with only a towel wrapped around his waist. He had his back facing me so I took the chance and opened my eyes to get a better view. His arms were so toned his back was so smooth and muscular that all I wanted was to get my hands on him.

He got one hand to comb back his hair. How could damp hair make him look more attractive?

My eyes widen as I saw how he tore the towel off his body to be fully exposed.

My throat went dry.

"Like what you see?"

Holy shit he new all along that I was watching! I felt my face get warmer and I wanted to hide myself underneath the covers. No Blue, get your shit together.

"Umm... I.." I stuttered. Really? That's all I managed to say as I mentally face palmed myself.

"Are you going to stay there and stare at me all day long? I mean I don't mind but I had other things in mind."

That cocky bastard. I tried to gain my composure. "Don't be so full of yourself Hood, yeah I don't deny you have a great body but could you cover yourself up before I do something that I'll regret later," I teased.

"Is that a promise?" He challenged.

Wow that back fired!

I got up quickly and grabbed his towel threw it at him. "I expect you to get changed before I get out from my shower" I said as I got inside the bathroom.

I had no idea where all this confidence was coming from. I wasn't complaining.

I took a quick cold shower cause god knows I really needed one. I got out only to realize that I had forgotten to get some clean clothes. Shit.

I walked outside the bathroom, expecting Calum to be gone but no he was spread out on the bed like a star fish.

All I could think to myself is you can do this Blue! Come, get your clothes and leave, it's that simple.

"Are you going to return the favor?" Calum had a smug smile on his face as he turned on his side so his eyes met mine.

"Sorry to disappoint but no, if that happens I don't know when we will get out of this room." I rolled my eyes midway when I noticed what I had said; "don't get any ideas Hood. I'll just get changed and we will go get something to eat."

We ended up going to coffee shop that was close to the house. We sat down drinking our coffees and muffins. "So I was thinking that today we would spend the whole day outside instead of staying at the house. I think you need to get some fresh air."

"Sure."

"So what movie do you want to watch?" He nudged my shoulder and I wasn't paying attention so I lost my balance and landed on my butt.

"I'm so sorry Blue! I didn't push you that hard!" Calum had a worried look on his face that wouldn't go away.

My face turned red of embarrassment. What the hell was wrong with me today?

"I'm fine." I got up and dusted my pants and hands. "Let's watch that one," I said as I pointed to a romantic movie. I usually wouldn't pick that but I had already seen the horror movies that were available. I just wish that things would go well.

"Did you pick this movie on purpose?" He said with a teasing tone. "Were you hoping to get lucky tonight?" Calum wiggled his eyebrows as he got a hold of my arm and took me inside.

I would have said something but I didn't want to make things more awkward.

Calum picked seats in a corner all the way in the back. I was starting to feel a little skeptical about tonight.

The movie was sort of getting uncomfortable to watch because there was so many kissing scenes. I could feel Calum's gaze but I tried to ignore him. From my peripheral I could see that Calum was trying to do the classic yawn and stretch and arm around me. I couldn't help but burst out laughing.

All around me people yelled at me to be quiet.

"Why are you laughing?" Calum seemed oblivious to his actions.

"Are you kidding me? If you really want to get my attention then I suggest you try a little harder." I moved his arm back to his side and continued to watch the movie.

Calum leaned closer and whispered, "so does that mean I actually have a chance?" He gave me this look with hopeful eyes.

I bit my lip and faced him, "we'll see."

I couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement.

After the movie Calum was acting a bit strange. He kept checking the time and had this stupid grin that made my insides all mushy.

"Do you I have somewhere else to be?" That came out more harsh than expected.

"Do my ears deceive me, is Winters jealous?" Calum teased as he tapped my nose.

I shoved his finger away. "I am not jealous!" I huffed as I started walking away.

Calum followed behind; he pulled my wrist and spun me around so I was now facing him.

"I'm sorry that was a bad joke but must admit you look so cute when you get mad." Calum said as he slid the back of his hand on my cheek.

"I'm sorry I overreacted," I mumbled as I tried to hide how embarrassed I was feeling from my outburst.

"Here put this blindfold on." Calum had this smile that was making my heart flutter and I swear if he got any closer I wouldn't be able to control myself.

"Where are you taking me?" This put me a little on the edge seeing as I've gone through this before and how the outcome was not a pretty sight.

"Don't worry Blue I'm not going to kidna...." Calum said as his eyes grew wide and covered his mouth shut. He slowly tried to redeem himself by stuttering, "Oh god I... I didn't mean it like that... Um.."

"Calum it's fine." I took the blindfold from his hands and put it on myself. "Now take me to this unknown destination." I paused for a moment, "I trust you."
