We spent the whole day together, but we were careful not to cause too much attention. I was not ready to be mobbed and I don't think he was either. I didn't even know if this relationship was going to last and honestly that thought scared me. He took me back to my room and quickly said goodbye. He just gave me a kiss on my forehead and left next door. I closed the door and leaned my back against the door and let it rest there for a while to think if I had made the right decision?
Will history repeat itself? I shook my head. No Blue, don't do this to yourself. I have tried so hard to forget everything, but things can't be erased that easily. Why now? Things were just starting to get better.
All those memories started reappearing all too vividly, like I was reliving everything. I was receiving mixed emotions. I got a hold of the nearest item, a flower vase, and smashed it on the floor. I just needed to let off some steam.
I leaned against the wall and slowly slid down to the ground. I couldn't hold back my tears. I picked up the broken glass with my bare hand and made a fist. My hand started bleeding, but I couldn't feel the pain anymore. There was no physical pain because the only pain I felt now was internally. Things started getting hazy and slowly everything went black.
-----
My eyes felt like they were glued shut. I could barely open them and only to notice that I woke up in a completely different room. I was at the hospital. What happened? I started to look around and realized my hand was bandaged. I started to remember how that occurred, but there was something I didn't understand. How did I get here?
I looked to my left and I saw someone sleeping on the couch beside the bed.
"Calum?"
I watched him shift a little and he slowly opened his eyes. He looked at me and had this confused look on his face. His eyes widen after his eyes had focused on me.
"Blue you're awake!"
"What happened?"
"Well a while had past since I had left to my room and I heard this loud noise that was coming from your room. I started banging on your door, but you wouldn't answer me so I had to break in. When I finally got inside, I saw you on the floor unconscious and there were pieces of glass scattered on the ground and one of your hands was bleeding. I panicked and I brought you here as fast as I could and that's everything I know. Anyways, what happened?"
"I really don't feel like talking about that if you don't mind."
"Well you can't keep it to yourself forever, but yeah I'll leave you alone while I find out if you can leave today."
"Okay."
--
We were back at my hotel room and Calum didn't want to leave my side. If I moved even in the slightest way possible, he would ask me if I was okay. I thought it was a sweet gesture, but it was just too much.
"Calum you know that I am capable of doing these things by myself right?"
"Yeah I know, but I kind of want to be here with you. If you don't mind."
"Not at all! You can stay here just as long as you promise me that you won't treat like if I was immobilized."
"Deal."
We had watched a movie and I was so sleepy. I let out a loud yawn.
"If you want you can go to sleep and I'll leave."
"No can you at least stay until I fall asleep, that way I'll feel much safer."
"Of course. Hey I almost forgot, one of my friends is having a party and I'd like for you to come with me."
"Yeah sure."
--
We were in front of a huge house and you could see drunken bodies everywhere in the lawn. Plastic cups and bottles scattered. I thought maybe inside it would be better. Well I thought wrong. The inside reeked of alcohol and people were dancing way to close. I wouldn't even call that dancing, but whatever.
Suddenly a group of people came up to talk to Calum and I felt so out of place. I just wanted to leave. I then saw some girl come from behind Calum and wrapped her arms on his waist. I was about to snap. Calum moved her arms away quickly.
"What's wrong Calum? You don't like it when I do that anymore, but you use to love that."
"Sorry Rose, but I have a girlfriend."
He moved to my side and smiled at me. Rose just gave me the death stare and said, "Omg my bad I didn't know that. I didn't know Calum liked girls like you."
"Girls like me?"
"That's enough Rose!"
"Oh jeez I was just kidding! Don't take things so personal. Some people are so touchy."
I just wanted to have a distraction so I pretended I needed to go to the bathroom.
"Hey Calum do you where the bathroom is?"
"Yeah it's down the hall."
The hall was a freaking train wreck. I tried to squeezing between the people and finally made it to the bathroom. I just stood there just wasting time because I was not in the mood to go back and see that bitch. She gets on my freaking nerves.
I had spent like ten minutes in here so I had to make my way back. I could see that Calum was still talking to that Rose girl. She was too close to him for my taste. She looked towards me and gave me a smile. She grabbed a hold of Calum and kissed him right in front of me. The worst thing is that Calum didn't reject her. I felt like a complete idiot. I knew coming here was a mistake. I tried so hard to hold back my tears, but I couldn't and so I left running to the door. I bumped into them and Calum started running after me.
"Blue come back!"
