Don't worry about me// Calum Hood

Chapter 9

"Michael. Blue. Wake up; we're here already", said Calum. Calum tried to hold them both simultaneously so neither of them would fall. They got to the lobby and there was only someone at the front desk giving them the stink eye. Calum just rolled his eyes and just thought that that person must think of them as the typical rebellious teenagers.

Although he didn't let that faze him. They got to the elevator which was when Michael decided that he could sleep on the floor while they got to their floor. Calum couldn't help but laugh of how wasted Michael was. Blue was still hanging on, but Calum could see that she had trouble keeping her eyes open.

They finally got to the room and Michael didn't even reach the couch when he passed out on the ground. Blue and Calum laughed uncontrollably. "Shh! you're going to wake him up", Blue said between laughs.

"Okay lets get you to bed because you really need to sleep."

Calum walked Blue to the bed and laid her down. "I don't have have my pjs" whined Blue. "Fine I'll go bring you some of my clothes so you'll be more comfortable." She simply nodded.

Calum came back with a pair of sweat pants and a white t-shirt. "Here, put this on." She analyzed the clothes and simply said, "can you put this on me?"

Calum's eyes widened. "Um I don't think that's a very good idea" he said as he scratched the back of his head. "I'll just turn around and you can change."

"I was kidding but you still have to turn around. No peeking!" Calum turned and Blue quickly started changing. She noticed he was acting so weird while she was changing. What Blue didn't know was that there was a mirror where Calum could see everything.

"Okay you can turn around now." Calum turned and his face turned red. He couldn't hide the fact that he had seen her undress. "You can stop acting weird now." Calum just looked confused. "Oh come on Calum I know you looking undress through that mirror" she said as she motioned to the mirror.

"I...I...I"

"Dude relax. Now if you'll excuse me I'll be going to sleep now."

"Blue can I ask you something?"

"Mhm"

"Why did you get drunk tonight? I mean you don't seem like the type of girl that does that very often."

"Goodnight Calum."

"If you don't want to answer that's fine, but I'll know sooner or later. Goodnight Blue."

*facepalm* "I feel so stupid! I swear I don't usually act like that." I felt so embarrassed that Calum had to put up with me.

"Yeah I figured."

"Thanks for looking out for me."

"Yeah no problem. that's what friends are for right?"

"Yeah, friends." I couldn't help but feel this pain in my chest when he referred to me as his friend. I know that I was the one who pushed him away but it still kind of stung. "I think I better leave now. I've caused enough trouble."

"No! No! Not at all! You can stay here, that is if you want to."

"No it's okay. I'll go back to my hotel so I can take a shower because i reek of alcohol." I was getting all my things and walked towards the door.

"Hey Blue! So why did you drink last night? I asked you, but you never answered."

"Don't worry about it."

"Typical answer Blue."

"What's that supposed to mean!"

"You always avoid my questions. It's just a god damn freaking question!"

"You really want to know why I drank? Okay fine, I drank because I was like 'hey maybe if I drink I'll be able to forget about Calum',but guess what that shit didn't work. The more I drank the more I couldn't get you off my mind and it only got worse when I saw you there. I kept looking for distractions but no I had to keep checking where you were every second and then I saw you with Rose."

"Rose and I are nothing!"

"Really Calum because from my point of view it looked pretty fucking different. Usually I'm not the jealous type but god fucking dammit Hood when I saw that girl with you I wanted to ugh.."

"I'm sorry I made you feel that way, but you're not the only one that was mad!"

"And why would you be mad?"

"You came to the party with Michael and you guys seemed to be too comfortable together."

"Are you fucking serious?"

"Yes Blue I'm being fucking serious! I saw you dancing with him so close and that just made my blood boil. I couldn't stand the fact that another guy was with you. What's even worse is that happens to be one of my best friends!"

"There is nothing going on between me and Michael, if that's what you're saying!"

"See that's the exact same thing with Rose!"

"No! You and Rose are a complete different thing. I didn't do anything with Michael while you fucking kissed Rose!"

"How many times do I have to say sorry? I know I fucked up and I've apologized endless times."

"It's not that simple Calum. I know for you maybe a kiss shouldn't be that big of a deal,but I just can't forget about it. I've gone through too much shit in the past that I can't trust someone that easily anymore."

"Maybe if you told me what happened to you it would be easier for me to understand why you can't trust me anymore."

"I can't!" It tried to hold back my tears.

"Why not? I'm trying to figure you out but when I actually talk to you about something that involves expressing your emotions, you shut me out. Blue help me understand you! Please I really care about you! I worry about you!"

"Just don't worry about me!"

"How can you tell me not to worry about you if there's something that you don't want to tell me that I know hurts you way too much. I want to help Blue!"

"I'm not asking for your help! I just want for you to leave me alone!"

"I can't leave you alone Blue especially now!"

"What do you mean especially now?"

He walked towards me and held my hands. "I'm in love with you Blue Winters!"
