Chapter 2

I turned around and started looking for her, but everyone was blocking my way to move forward. I finally just started scooting people out of the way. Half of them fumbled over thanks to the alcohol. When I made it back to the couch I saw Izzy standing on it scolding some guy in front of her.

"You don't get to just touch people's boobs sir!" she slurred waving her finger in his face.

I stepped up right behind him and leaned down. "You touched my sisters boobs?"

"And what are you gonna," he turned around and quickly stopped his tough guy approach when he had to look up.

"Excuse me, what was that?" I stepped closer to him and his eyes looked around me.

"I'm sorry, I just, I thought," he stuttered out.

"You can leave now Sebastian," Maia said from behind me.

He quickly worked around me and ran out the door.

I held my arms out to Izzy, "come on lady it's time to find Jace."

In only Izzy form the decided to hang over my shoulder. I wrapped my arm tight around her, "this works too."

I moved past the crowd and started back down the hallway looking in the rooms.

I finally heard the sound I was looking for. Some girl moaning Jace's name. I don't get how he does it. Just any girl he wants. I've talked to guys, but I can't just get in bed with them. It's more me than them. I just get so nervous.

I banged on the door, "Jace you done in there. Izzy is done for the night."

I listened for him to answer and slowly put Izzy done only to find out she was starting to fall asleep.

"Hey, no sleeping yet," I patted the cheek lightly trying to get her eyes open.

"Here," I turned around to see Magnus with a water bottle and some aspirin.

"Am I supposed to take drugs from strangers?" I smiled taking the water.

He laughed softly, "considering I'm the most sober one here, I'd take them."

I took them and got Izzy to take them and hold on to her water.

"Thanks, why are you sober?" I asked moving to prop Izzy up.

"Last time Maia threw a party her house got wrecked so I told her I'd stay sober and try to keep it under control," he leaned against the opposite wall.

"Well that's really nice of you. So again why'd you want to know my name?" I grinned big.

Izzy gasped and seemed to wake up a bit more. She looked up and looked at Magnus up and down then drunkenly tried to whisper, "he's hot."

I don't know who blushed more, me or him.

"Thank you and to answer your question. I think you're cute," he blushed a little more smiling.

I looked down at my feet blushing as I heard Jace finally come out the room.

"All done," he grinned and winked at the red head walking away from him.

"I didn't know red heads were your type," Izzy laughed.

"They are now," he walked over and wrapped his arm around her, "come on time to go home."

Jace winked at me walking between me and Magnus heading to the living room.

"So, I said you were cute and you didn't say anything Alec," he moved over taking Izzy's spot.

I bit my lip before looking at him. "You're pretty cute too," I smiled at him knowing my blush came back.

"Phone," he put his hand out.

I fumbled through my pockets and grabbed my phone placing it in his hand.

He typed a number in and his name. "Text me anytime." He winked handing me my phone back and walked away leaving me a grinning fool.
