Chapter 19

"I wish I could stay a little longer," he leaned up kissing my lips.

I squeezed his butt lightly and he smacked my chest.

"Listen, just because you know how I like it doesn't mean you get to do it in public," he laughed picking up his bags smiling.

"I wouldn't want to. Nobody needs to know how good you are," I winked and bite my lip.

It earned me one of my favorite sights; Magnus blushing bright red. He ran back over and kissed me quickly before going inside.

It sucked. Tonight we actually had to be apart. We spent a whole week together and now no baby. He had to stay at his dorm to make sure his section looked good before the students arrived back. He also had a meeting with the other RA's about something. I promise I listened but I may have forgot for the factor that he was telling me shirtless. I can't help that his beauty distracts me.

I got back in the car watching Jace grin.

"What?" I asked.

"If Izzy where here, she'd need every detail on that," he laughed.

"Thank god we already dropped her off," I nudged his shoulder and we drove back to our place.

"Motherfucker," I groaned as Jace pinned me down to the ground.

"You have to remember, I may be shorter than you," he spun my arm a little more making me wince, "but I'm stronger."

I tapped out making him release my arm.

I rubbed my shoulder standing up, "but you have to remember, I'm still pretty damn good."

"Yeah, but you have to keep up with the gym. Bring Magnus next time if you have too, but you can't start slacking," he walked to the kitchen grabbing two water bottles.

He threw one at me and I caught it with the arm just pinned down earning a big crack.

"Oooooo yeah," I rolled it out, "much better."

We practically chugged the water when my phone rang. I searched around and finally found it.

"Hey Maia," I smiled sitting on the arm off the chair.

"Someone took him!" she shouted and it was clear she was crying.

"Hey, hey, calm down. Who took who?" I heard her take a deep breath trying to clear her sobs.

She finally spoke in a whispered tone, "they took Magnus."

My heart stopped. The world stopped. Magnus. Someone took my baby. I wanted to scream, but I couldn't find my voice. I wanted to cry, but my body stopped working. Why would someone take my baby?

Jace walked over to me taking my phone.

"Maia, what'd you just tell him?"

His face froze. He knew what was wrong. Then his face hardened.

"What do you know? Where do we need to go?" he started asking so many questions.

I felt worthless. I wasn't doing anything. I didn't save him. One night alone and someone took my world. My world. I had to find him. I finally found my body and stood up grabbing my jacket and putting my boots on.

Jace hung up the phone and turned to me grabbing his jacket.

"Maia said it was outside the RA meeting. Some of the group is still shook up. She's keeping them their to talk to you," he put his boots on.

We walked out and I was still unable to speak. I knew if I opened my mouth I'd start crying and I wouldn't be able to stop.

We drove to campus and found the group. Jace started asking a bunch of questions as I looked around the area. We were no cops, but we'd see a lot in Brooklyn.

"So they said that he had pitch black hair and ice blue eyes," I shook my head. Magnus didn't know anyone that looked like that.

"They also said it was like he knew him though. He yelled the guys name. Jacob."

My heart stopped. Magnus had told me that god awful man that hurt him. Jacob.

"Did he have any tattoos?" I finally spoke.

"Yeah lots, Alec what do you know?" his eyebrow raised.

"My baby is in deep trouble and I swear to god when I find that man I'm going to break every bone in his body."

I gritted my teeth and I could feel the tears starting. Jace pulled me into him rubbing my back.

"We're going to find him, but first you have to tell me who he is and why he deserves every bone. There's more than just kidnapping."

We stepped back and walked to my car when my phone rang again. It was a Brooklyn number, but I didn't know it.

"Hello?"

"Baby, you have to help me."
