I started to look through my closet knowing exactly what I already had in there. I wasn't big on shopping so my wardrobe was pretty simple. Lots of black, some navy here and there, greens too, but that's it. I wonder what he would wear. Probably something gorgeous, but we're going for pizza. Pizza means simple in my book.

I shook off my nerves a little and got dressed in a navy shirt and dark jeans throwing my combat boots on. I laced my boots up when I started thinking about Magnus's boots last night. Rhinestones on the flaps hanging over. Nice think souls that looked like they had been polished. Mine were disoriented in color after 4 years of wear. However, they were my favorite and Magnus didn't seem to mind.

I walked out of my room fixing my hair when I heard giggles coming from Jace's room. Another girl like usual.

I peeked in his room and to my surprise it was the redhead girl from last night. She was small and had pale skin. Not usually Jace's type, but he's invited her over and that's never happened before. Maybe she is his type.

I knocked on the door and stood to the side.

"Hey what's up?" Jace said closing the door behind him.

"I'm going out just thought I'd let you know for whatever you have planned," I motioned to the door and laughed lightly.

He punched my arm playfully, "hey I think I actually like this one."

"No way?" I smiled big. "What kind of powers does she have?"

Jace laughed, "very funny. She's just really nice and can keep up my pace. And not just in bed." He pointed out matter of factly.

"Well you two have fun. I'll be back sometime," I waved walking out to the living room.

"Make good choices!" Jace added as I opened the door.

It was a relief to have something to laugh about before this date. Wait was it a date? I wasn't really specific in my text and neither was he. I hope it's a date.

I got in my car and drove to campus. Once there I walked to Gino's. Jace and I had picked this campus together for a couple of reasons. One it wasn't to big. Once on campus you could pretty much walk everywhere. Two it was only 3 hours from Brooklyn; an easy day trip home. Three, the seasons are beautiful here. Currently it's fall and the trees surrounding the campus look beautiful.

I made it to Gino's and got a table for us. I fidgeted with my fingers waiting for him. I was early like I usually am. I can't help it, my dad was military so we were trained in a lot of military ways.

I was lost in the menu when I spotted him coming in. Like I imagined he looked gorgeous. He had a dark grey shirt on with black leather pants. He had lots of rings on and his eyeliner was perfect. The last thing to put the outfit together; those combat boots.

I stood up as he made his way to me. "Hey there," I smiled nervously.

"Hi Alec," he smiled coming in for a hug.

He hugged me tight and my knees almost locked as I smelled his cologne. It was so nice and light. I almost panicked wondering how I smelled.

We stepped back and sat down in the booth.

"Alec, is that your real name?" he asked.

"Um, it's a nickname. My names Alexander," I took a sip of my drink.

"Alexander, I like how that sounds," he grinned.

To my luck the waitress came over before I could respond.

We ordered a simple pepperoni and more water.

"I love pizza. I'm a Brooklyn boy so it's an every week thing," I said taking a bite of the pizza.

Magnus almost chocked on his pizza, "you're from Brooklyn?"

I nodded eating.

"No wonder I like you. I'm from Brooklyn too," he smiled.

Wait he likes me?! No my hearts stopped in the middle of this small campus pizzeria.
