Campus Crush

Chapter 5

"No wonder you agreed to pizza," I smiled knowing I was still blushing.

"I would have agreed to anything you wanted Alexander."

I looked at him as he took another sip of water. I don't know what it was about him, but in that moment watching him my breathing stopped. He had me hooked.

We sat for what seemed like hours just talking and finishing up the whole pizza with ease. I learned he was a journalist major which of course made him enjoy my English lit major. He's a senior and has been a room advisor all four years. Being an ra he gets to live on campus for free which comes in handy because he was in foster care majority of his life.

"My parents died when I was really young and since we didn't have much family I got put into foster care. I had to work hard to get scholarships to be able to come here," he said taking a sip of his water.

"I'm sorry you lost your parents," I wiped my mouth finishing up.

"Don't be. I don't remember them much," he motioned to the waitress.

I grabbed the bill quick and slide the cash and tip in.

He shook his head, "I can see you're gonna be a fun one."

We smiled and I stood up waiting for him. We walked out of Gino's and headed for his dorm.

"Do you like being an ra?" I asked.

"I don't mind it this year. I've got a great group of guys," he smiled.

"Better than me?" I nudged him and was almost shocked at how relaxed I'd become with him.

I felt his hand brush mine, "no way."

I smiled down at him as his slide his hand into mine. His hand was so soft. I interlocked my fingers and couldn't help but notice how perfect his hand fit into mine.

We walked hand and hand into his dorm house. I hated having to let go as he got his keys out.

His dorm was nice. Being an ra he's got a little living and kitchen space and a separate bedroom and bathroom.

"This is really nice," I looked around smiling.

"Thanks, do you live on campus?" He sat down his wallet and keys.

"No. Me and my brother Jace live about 5 minutes off campus," I ran my fingers over his bookshelf. He had a great collection of new fiction.

I felt him come stand behind me and I turned my head to look back at him.

"Fiction romance is usually my choice. Vampires in love. Space romance," his hand started to trail up my arm slowly. He left it on my bicep squeezing lightly. I don't know if I can make it with Magnus if he keeps taking my breath away.

I tuned slowly and he looked up at me grinning as he ran both hands up my arms. "Alexander you sure are fit."

I tried to get my breathing steady. I stuttered my whole way through, "my dad is a military guy so he always had us working out with him."

"Remind me to thank him," he squeezed my biceps.

I don't know what came over me but next thing I knew I had him pinned against the wall.

"Don't tease Alexander," his breathing matched mine. Unsteady and wanting.

I cupped his cheeks and leaned down kissing him deep. He gripped my waist kissing back matching my passion. He was the first to come up for air.

"Alexander," he breathed out. My name out of his mouth was starting to sound more and more like music to my ears.

"Yes?" I moved back a little to look at him.

"I'd love to continue this, but sadly if you get caught here I could lose my job."

Sadness took over but I understood.

"Don't think that means I don't want to. I mean my god that was great we're just gonna have to try again at your place or mine earlier," he ran his hands down my chest.

I watched his hands and nodded.

He leaned up and kissed my cheek pushing me lightly to the door.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" I finally managed to get out.

He opened the door smiling big, "you most certainly will."

I leaned down and kissed him softly then walked out the door.

"Goodnight Alexander," he smiled.

"Goodnight Magnus."

As soon as I made it outside my breath came back. Magnus Bane, he's going to be the death of me.
