It'd been almost three weeks of dating Magnus and it was amazing. Magnus and I saw each other almost everyday. We tried not to be that couple that couldn't be apart, but it was hard not being near him. However, we didn't ignore everyone around us. Hell we've had so many double dates since. Simon was finally starting to come out of his shell. I think it helped that Jace's little redhead Clary and him were best friends. I wasn't fully sure about Clary yet, but boy she sure made him happy. Sadly though I hear majority of that.

I had one more week to ask my parent if Magnus could come home with me. I also hadn't really asked him and we hadn't talked it about since the first time I told him he wouldn't be spending time alone. I should really get my crap together. Just as my mind raced my mom called me.

"Hey mom," I answered.

"Hey Alec, have you heard from Izzy today?" she asked.

"Yeah, she was with Simon last time I saw her."

"Okay, she hadn't called me yet. Is Simon really a good guy?"

I laughed lightly at her tone. We both are worried about Simon, but in two different ways. I'm worried if he'll make it and she's worried if Simon is a bad guy.

"Mom he's a great guy. Izzy will break his heart first."

I heard her sigh of relief, " how are you and Magnus?"

This was my opportunity. "Umm, he's great. Mom would you mind if he came home for Thanksgiving?"

"Doesn't he want to go home to his family?"

"Mom he doesn't have a family."

I could hear my mom's breath hitch. When Jace's dad died she was the first one to make sure he was okay. She told my dad the night of the funeral that he would be their son. She couldn't stand the thought of a child without a family. My mom could be a hard ass, but when it came to children she was a softy.

"Of course he can come. Do you know what he likes to eat? Maybe I should make him something special so he feels at home, or," I stopped her before she started rambling.

"Mom, it's okay. Just make your usual. Magnus loves all food, it'll be great."

"Let him know he's always welcome to come here. Alec?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

I tried not to laugh knowing my mom was thinking about little Jace being alone, "I love you too."

So now onto Magnus.

"So I'm thinking Indian tonight?" Magnus said squeezing my hand as we walked to my car.

"Oooo spicy," I wiggled making him laugh.

"I think you're starting to love it," he poked my cheek.

"I am," I pulled our hands up to my face and kissed the back of his hand, "and I'm really starting to like you."

He blushed and took our hands kissing the back of mine.

"Magnus?"

"Yes Alexander?"

"Will you come home with me for Thanksgiving?"

He stopped walked and I looked at him.

"Don't worry, I already asked my mom and she's more than happy you're coming. She started talking about what to feed you. I couldn't stop," before I could finish talking he cupped my cheeks and started kissing me.

I kissed back wrapping an arm around his waist. I smiled as he pulled back. His eyes looked almost sad yet, his smile said he was happy.

"Alexander, of course I want to go home with you for Thanksgiving."

"Are you okay baby?" I asked rubbing his cheek.

He laughed lightly, "it's just, no one since I've been in college has asked me to go home and meet their family. You've only known me a month and want me there."

"Of course I do, you're my boyfriend," I smiled.

"Yes I am," he smiled big.

Magnus Bane, my boyfriend, was going to meet my parents. Then it accorded to me, my parents have never actually meet one of my boyfriends. Please god don't let this be awkward.
