Chapter Four ~ My cousin has a FLP
I fell flat on my face, once again in the woods. I sat up and looked around, noticing a girl leaning against a tree, blood on her face from scratches as well as on her arms. Her shirt was ripped in some places and she looked sick, her skin was pale. She had light sandy brown hair and many scars littering her face. She looked at me, pale purple eyes flashing with guilt and worry.
"Did I hurt you?" She asked softly.
"No, I was just running from some creepy guy," I said, a small smile on my face.
"Oh," she said, still looking unsure.
"Why did you think you hurt me?" I asked, standing up.
"I-I have a problem," she muttered.
I recognize her now, she looks a lot like Uncle Moony....
"Do you know a man named Moony?" I asked.
"My mum said my dad's name was Moony," she said, looking at me with interest now.
"My uncles name was Moony, so I guess were cousin's then!" I said, grinning widely.
She looked surprised, "I never had family since my mum left!"
"My names Lucy, Lucy Black," I said, bowing jokingly.
"I'm Snow Lupin," she said with a giggle.
"I say we ditch our old names, since we were both abandoned," I suggested.
"I like that idea," Snow said, her eyes sparkling.
"What what should be our new last names?" I ask.
"We should both be... Marauder!" Snow said with a giggle.
"Snow and Lucy Marauder, I like it!" I cheered.
"Now if we are really going to be family, we have to trust each other," Snow said.
"Okay, I'll tell you my deepest secret," I said in a low whisper.
"I'll tell you mine as well, just please don't hate me," Snow whispered back.
"Family sticks together no matter what," I told her and she seemed to brighten a bit.
"My dad's in Azkaban, a wizarding prison," I said softly.
Her eyes widened," Wow..."
"I-I'm a werewolf," she said, looking fearful of my reaction.
"A werewolf?" I asked quietly.
"Yes," Snow said, looking sad.
I hugged her, she shouldn't be sad.
"How old are you?" Snow asked.
"Ten," I said smiling.
"Me too, you know, Harry Potter is starting this year," Snow said sadly.
"Yeah I know, I wish we could join him but I'll be hated because of my dad, plus I'm born in September so I'll be eleven to late..." I said sadly.
"I'm born in September too, and I'll be to much of a danger to other students," Snow said, looking sad and guilty.
"I have a idea," I said, "When we go to Hogwarts next year we could get all the stuff on our letters besides our uniforms and go to Hogwarts, but only on the grounds, we don't have to go to classes, we can stay in the forest and teach our selves!" I said excitedly.
Snows eyes brightened, but they dimmed less then a second later," But what about full moons?"
"I can trap you in a cave or something until I find a different way," I said with a shrug.
"Let's do it, we are Marauders,we can do anything!" Snow cheered and we broke into fits of laughter. I felt water drop on my nose and looked up.
"It's starting to rain, let's build a shelter," I suggested. Snow nodded and we got to work.
I opened my purple back pack and pulled out my blanket.
"We can use this to sleep on," I said and put it down next to me.
"Lucy! There's a big tree here with a big hole under it! We can live down here till our letters come!" Snow called.
"Perfect!" I called back and picked upmy back pack- and blanket- and brought it over to the tree. Snow crawled down into it and I followed behind her. The hole was pretty big, it had one big, flat rock in it as well as a small hole by the side, as well as the entry one.
"I'll get some leaves to make a bed for us," Snow said and crawled back out. (We could stand up down here, but we couldn't walk back out- we had to crawl).
I started to move little stones away from the corner and decided to try and make them into a pillow.
"Pillow? Plush? Give me a pillow?" I tried, but ended up with nothing.
I decided to test my memories to see if my dad or uncle did anything like this before...
My dad was sitting at the table and I had lost my blanket and was throwing a tantrum.
"H-hold on I'll get your blanket!" My dad said, he wasn't the most experienced father.
"Transotom Blanket!" He said and the bowl on the table turned into my blanket.
"Lucy? Lucy!"
Snows voice shook me out of my memories. I opened my eyes to see her frantic face full of worry.
"Are you okay? What happened?" Snow asked hurriedly.
"Huh? Oh, yeah I'm fine, I forgot to tell you I have a Eidetic memory," I said, a small smile on my face.
"So you can remember everything?" Snow gasped.
"You know what it means?" I asked in shock.
"Well yeah," Snow said, looking me with a 'no duh' expression.
"Snow you must be a genius," I said.
"It would make sense," Snow said, a sly grin on her face.
"Not to mention cocky," I joked, and she hit me on the arm.
"Watch this," I said, remembering the spell.
"Transotom Bed!" I exclaimed, and the pile of leaves turned into a bed, making us both get pushed into a wall.
"How do you make this bigger?!" Snow yelped.
"Er...." I mumbled.
"Expelsio!" Snow cried and the hole got HUGE like it was the size of a house!
"Wow Snow!" I laughed and pushed the bed into the corner.
We transfigured the rocks into lights, bean bags, a fridge, fire place ,made a extra bed so we both had our own, a door and glass for a window, as well as making the large flat rock into a table.
"I think we should call our house, 'The Hollow'," Snow said, sitting on her bed.
"I agree," I replied, transfiguring a stick into pajamas (I broke it in half so we both had a pair) and we got into them, before going to sleep, in out new home, with just us two, (and Moony, he came back and was a stuffed animal in my arms) as our family.
