James and Lilly had fallen asleep in the room of requirement where they were supposed to stay until tomorrow when Harry would get to see them again. Sirius was wide awake by Lucy's bed in the hospital wing, trying to figure out why he cared. Lucy wasn't his daughter, but his niece. So why did he care? As Sirius thought this over, he didn't notice Remus and Snape walk into the room.

"Siri?" Remus muttered miserably.

Sirius turned around pointing his wand at his best friend, eyes wide.

Remus stepped back, "Sirius it's just me and Snape."

Sirius snarled at Snape, "Got Moony to call you Snape, huh Snivels?"

Snape glared at him, "You might want to hear this, Black."

Remus started to talk miserably, "Snape and I figured out the traitor in forth year. But, after he ran away, we didn't think of him again, but after Lucy said that Peter wasn't the traitor out of the eight marauders, we realized who she was talking about-"

"Cleon," Sirius breathed.

Remus nodded solemnly.

Snape cursed and in a fit of rage blasted at a chair with his wand, sending it into flames. Remus looked at him in shock and for once Sirius kept his mouth shut.

"It's not bloody fair! She went though so much. You should have seen her Lupin! the night after your grandmother sent her back to the orphanage, she bawled. I was there, i was lucky, so very lucky, that when she didn't respond to my call from outside in the forest that night that I went inside. I snuck in though the window, and there was so much blood. So much f**king blood!"

The canines said nothing as he went on, "Oh you should have seen her when Regulus got ahold of her- he was a abusive-" he let out a string on insults and curses, "he beat her and honestly, I don't think Regulus is Lucy's father. That was Danni's greatest fear, always was. The night Lucy was born, Danni wrote me a letter telling me everything, and the poor girl-" Snape couldn't take it anymore and started to sob.

The guilt between those three never seemed to fade.
