Chapter 17- Meetings with SnippyLucy Black and Luna Lovegood were lead into the hall before the Great Hall, where a stern looking women met up with them.
"Ah! You must be Miss Black, and you Miss Lovegood, correct?" The women asked.
"Yes, ma'am," Lucy replied, and Luna nodded.
"Very well, I am professor McGongal, please head into the hall when your called for the sorting," the grey haired women said before Turing sharply leading the way to the Great Hall.
The hall was huge. The ceiling showed the sky outside and hundreds of candles floated about. Five tables took up most of the space, but a large chair stood center of the room, a podium in front of it. But sitting on a stool in front of that was a raggedy purple hat."Wolfe, June!" McGongall called. Lucy clapped loudly for her cousin but was ignored.
"Gryffindor!" The hat called, and June went off to table with the lion banner.
"Wolfe, Tobian!"
"Gryffindor!"
"Lupin, Snow!"
"Gryffindor!" (I made a mistake and had to edit this sorry!)
"Lovegood, Luna!"
"Ravenclaw!"
"Black, Lucy!"
The hall went quiet as Lucy walked up to the stool, her shoes clicking against to stone. The hat was placed upon her head and spoke to her softly.
"Time will be hard for you, Lucy Black. Painful and hard. You will be tricked and mislead, ignored and hurt. But, you won't live though that for long. Be strong, Lucy Black."
Lucy couldn't believe what the hat said but couldn't think when she heard what the hat called.
"I want her moved to second year!"
Dumbledore nodded, and the hat called out, "Slytherin!"
"Slytherin," Snape said softly, "Danni's daughter, a Slytherin...."
_________________________________Daniel Hope's fist slammed into the wall, anger flaring in her eyes.
"This is my fault!" She snarled to her self, ignoring the burning pain in her fist.
You shouldn't mess with time, Danni Hope. It will always come back to haunt you.
Dann slid down the wall. It had come back to haunt her. Her daughter was forced into Slytherin! She was a Gryffindor!
"Excuse me?" Rain said, standing in front of Danni.
"What?" Danni asked miserably.
"This is where we leave you- August 30, 1992."
Danni's head shot up, "we're free?"
"Yes, you and your friends. We will leave you in Godrics Hollow."
_________________________________Lucy was the first out of the Great Hall. As she ran away from the other students she heard various words and sentences.
"Murders daughter."
"Slytherin, I knew it!"
"Funny how she is so unwanted her uncle didn't even want her!"
Tears sprung to her eyes as she pushed her way though the crowd- not towards the dungeons but, towards Snapes office.
Snape followed the girl towards his office, looking back once or twice to make sure no one was looking. Lucy ran up to the large door and changed into a beetle, slipping under the door. Snape opened his office door and threw it close behind him. Lucy sat sobbing on the floor, shaking quietly in a fatal position. Snape sat down next to her, pulling her in to a hug.
"Everything will be okay, I promise."
