Chapter Six~
Infections
*Third Person*
The four orphans sat happily in the Hollow, telling things to each other about themselves like there favorite colors, foods, and animals.
"I personally love dogs," June said.
"No way, I like ravens better!" Toby laughed.
"I love wolves," Lucy said grinning widely.
"I-I like wolves too," Snow said.
The orphans didn't feel alone with their cousins, no they felt purely happy.
"I need to tell you guys something," Snow said softly, catching the other threes attention.
"You can tell us anything," June said kindly.
Snow took a deep breath, "I'm a werewolf."
June and Toby shrugged.
Snow looked shocked, as well as Lucy.
Toby noticed and started to explain, "We don't care about your problem, we care about who you are and how you deal with it.".
June nodded in agreement.
Lucy and Snow smiled.
"Well," Lucy yawned, "let's get to bed shall we?"
The others nodded, and got into some of their raggedy pjs (Lucy and Snow lost control of their magic abilities, as they are gaining more and more as they near their next birthday), before climbing into bed.

Snow woke up the next morning and grabbed some of their supplies they had stolen the day before, as well as some sticks and the lighter.
Toby got up when Snow did, and noticed Lucy looked paler then yesterday.
"Hey Snow, I think Lucy may be sick," Toby said worriedly.
Snow looked up, "Check and see if she has a fever."
Toby put the back of his hand on Lucy's head and pulled back quickly from the amount of heat.
"There's no doubt in my mind that she does," Toby said.
Snow came over and checked for her self, and sure enough, he was right. Guilt swept through Snow, remembering the last full moon was the night before they met Toby and June. Lucy had gotten a deep cut along her arm, and had protested many times that she was fine, through the blood had sept through her thin jacket.
Snow moved the blankets and pulled up the sleeve of her pj shirt, and gasped at the sight.
Lucy's wound had grown green and purple around the edges and had stained blood running down her arm.
Toby noticed with a look of horror.
"It's infected," Toby said, having no doubt in his mind about one thing,
Infections can be deadly.
