Come What May

I woke up with a hangover, and a memory of kissing Ryan in the bathroom.

"Here you go. Dad's hangover remedy," My dad handed me a glass of something. I drank it.

"This is so bad," I cringed my face in disgust.

"Just drink it," My dad demanded. "I'll catch you on the plane," He walked away to get dressed. I was still dressed from last night.

Dad and I went to the airport, and somehow we got separated seats. I didn't mind. It would be nice to sit by myself. My dad is too much sometimes.

We boarded the flight, and I sat in my seat. It was a window seat. Good. I love the window.

"Sara?" I heard Ryan ask.

"Ryan hey," I smiled. I thought back to the kiss.

"Looks like we're siting by each other," Ryan sat down. "Look can we talk since we're both here?" He asked lowly.

"Yeah," I nodded.

"I really like you, and those kisses meant more to me than just a kiss," Ryan said.

I smiled. "I feel the same,"

Ryan put his hand in mine. "When we get back to Nashville, would you like to go on a date with me?" He asked.

"Yes," I looked in his soft brown eyes. Our flight took off, and I put my head on Ryan's shoulder. Ryan put his arm around me. I fell asleep in Ryan's arms.

I woke up, and I saw Ryan sleeping. Once I got up off of him, he woke up.

"Sorry to wake you," I apologized.

"It's fine," He smiled.

"I think we're almost there," I said. His hair looked perfect. It was a mess, but it was perfect.

"Well do you want to come to this really nice place for dinner?" He asked.

"I'd love to," I smiled.

"I wrote a new song I want to record, and should we keep us a secret from everyone?" Ryan asked.

"I guess we should. If they find out they might remove my dad from the job, and he's having so much fun," I pointed out.

"Okay. We'll eat in tonight. My place. I'll text you," He smiled. He got close to me, and whispered, "I really want to kiss you right now,"

I took a minute to look at him. He had a little smile on his face, but it was big enough for me to smile too. His hands where on mine. His brown eyes where looking at me. I could feel his eyes on me. On my lips.

I bit my lip as I looked at his pink lips. They remind me of a sunset. Something that you look forward to tomorrow. I looked at up at his eyes full of happiness. I can tell he's going to be worth it.

Nashville was the same. I really think something will be different every time I come back. I guess it it a bit different this time. I have Ryan. Oh yeah. I'm going to Ryan's tonight. He texted me his address and what time. Witch if I want to make it, I have to leave now.

"Dad I'm going to a friends," I said as I was walking to the door.

"Wait right there," My dad called out. "Witch friend?"He asked.

"Megan. She's only in town tonight so," I told him. "I really got to go if I want to make it on time. Bye dad," I said as I walked out the door. That was a close one. If my dad found out Ryan and I where dating then.... I don't even know what he would do. Probably kill me.

I drove to Ryans. I love driving at night. I like how there's almost no one in the neighborhood. I like how the city lights are glowing bright. It's just beautiful. I always used to drive around the towns I'd never been to at night. Every city is a little different.

Once I got to Ryan's house I could feel my stomach in my throat. I knocked on the door.

The door opened to reveal Ryan. "Come in," Ryan opened the door more. "I was going to make something, but then I burned it, so I ordered Chinese food.

"That's fine," I laughed.

"Oh. Have you heard my new song I wrote? I've played it before, but I always think of you when I sing it now," Ryan got his guitar. He started to sing "I'm so obsessed about how dumb I look. You must be bad, because you make me feel good. The more I'm with you the more I'm hooked. Cause tonight I gotta confess the way you look in this light I can't catch my breath. Touch me the way that I touched you. Love me the way that I love you. Recklessly. Give me everything!" Ryan finished singing the song, and I was smiling the whole way though.

"That song is amazing," I smiled. "I'll make sure we get that one done," I tried my best to admit that song was wrote for another girl. He wrote it with other guys though.

"We should have a secret love song," Ryan smiled.

I looked at him.

"A song that you and I wrote, and when we're not together we'll sing it to know our love is true," Ryan seemed happy about this.

"Okay, but I'm not a writer," I warned him.

"Okay. Ryan got out his laptop, opened up word, and wrote at the top "Secret love song".

"Should we really call it secret love song since it's a secret?" I asked as I sat down on the floor next to him.

"We'll change it later," Ryan laughed.

"Okay, so um. I just sing or something? I don't know how to do this," I said to him.

"I'll play something, and you make up lyrics," Ryan went to the piano, and played a tune.

"I never knew love could feel like this," I started. Ryan smiled when he heard me sing. "Like I've never seen the sky before. I want to vanish inside your kiss. Everyday I love you more." I stopped.

"Listen to my heart. Can you hear it sing?" Ryan joined in. "Telling me to give you everything."

"Seasons may change winter to spring. Makes me forget everything, but I love you,"

"I love you,"

"Until my dying day,"

"Come what may,"

"Come what may,"

"I will love you until my dying day." Ryan stopped. He smiled at me. "I love you," He smiled.

I've never been more happy in my life then when I'm here with Ryan.
