Harry's POV
The laughs have died down and there was only silence. People started staring and I can't help but lower at them. Assholes. I need to bring her somewhere else to sober up. I'm sure her family would go crazy seeing her like this.

I lead her out of the house and into the driveway where I've parked my car. There's no time to worry about my car smelling like puke and the passenger seat cover getting messed up. Anika wouldn't stop crying. I don't know if it's because she's too drunk or if she just realized what happened.

I drove to the nearest diner. Anika was just staring down on her lap the entire time, her cheeks still stained with tears. I reach for my bag at the backseat and brought out a fresh shirt. It's a good thing I always think of bringing an extra during game days. I hand her my shirt and asked her to change. She lets the towel slide from her back so casually as if she's the only person in here. I looked away until she tapped me.

I helped her climb out my car and walk inside. After sitting her on the booth, I ordered the cheapest plate of cheese sticks even though I don't have an appetite, just so we wouldn't be asked to leave.

There were two glasses of water sitting in front of us, the food I ordered never touched from where the waiter had set it. I was only watching Anika, not being able to give a voice to the questions that are filling my mind.

She crosses her arms on the table and rests her head on it, sighing. "I miss my friends."

Something flared up in my chest; anger. "Why the hell did you have to drink so much?"

"No, actually..." Then her face crumples as if she's about to cry again. "I don't have an—any friendsh—" She suddenly reaches for my hand on the table, but I don't jerk away. My blood boils having to see her eyes so tired and restless and then remember how people ridiculed her. My hands are shaking. I want to hit something.

"I don't know who you are you look like the boy I'm supercrazy in love with." She searches for my eyes and her chin trembles when I only stared back at her. Tears rolled down her cheeks. "I miss him. I miss him..."

I wasn't paying much attention to what she was saying because my mind was too busy thinking on its own. Where the fuck was Lorriane in all of this? Haven't anyone thought of stopping her? What the fuck is wrong with people? Did they really just laughed at her? Did they fucking think it was funny?

I ran my hand through my hair, heaving out a frustrated breath. Anika was still talking about that guy, whoever the fuck he is. I brought my phone out and typed in a message for Zach. Hey man i'm sorry about the mess was all I can say and I hope he knows that it covers the raided bathroom drawers, a missing towel and the puddle of vomit in the lounge area.

Not a few minutes later he replies, all good i hope anika's okay.

"Hey, listen." Anika still has her hand over mine and she taps on the back of my hand with her pointer finger. "I'm going to tell you a secret." With that loud voice of hers, I'm sure I won't be the only one hearing whatever she has to say. "You know, I keep this notebook—well actually I don't haveitanymorebecause you know I lost it but it's suuuuuper shiny and it has something written on the cover like I guess monami...? Partage...? But I lost it—Hey! Are you listening?"

Barely, but I nod.

"Okay, so I said it's suuuper shiny, right? But, it's not actually that shiny—"

"You have to tell me why you're this drunk." I say, my patience treading thin.

She places a finger on my lips, glaring. "Shhh—wow you're lips are soft! Anyway so, this notebook, it's where I write my feelings for him. I started—" Her phone blares from the table and she shushes me angrily.
