After the fight with Mazus, Thorn made a fire while Myth laid on the floor, cause he was exhausted.
The wounds on Myth had mostly healed, but they left scars and threatened to reopen if agitated.
They chowed down on the McDonald's, and then they finished it.
"So what do I do now?" Myth asked, "Do I just stay here eating McDonald's and fighting monsters forever, not saying that that's a bad thing."
"Well," Thorn started, "it would be difficult, but you could return to the place where you came from."
"Why would I want to go back there when I could be myself and fight monsters and eat McDonald's all day and every day?"
But then Myth thought about his kitty, and how heartbroken she must be right now.
That settled it. He was going back to his home.
"Tell me how," Myth said.
"Normally I would be able to send you back almost immediately," Thorn said, "but there's something wrong with my powers. There is a way to reboot it, though. The Trials of Thorn."
"What are those?" Myth asked.
"You have to go through different versions of reality and face the trials within them," Thorn said, "are you sure you want to go?"
"Yes," Myth said firmly. As he said the word, 4 sets of doors appeared.
As he walked through the first door, Myth thought of all the fun times he and his kitty had together.
This was the motivation that pushed him into The Trials of Thorn.
