~8:34 PM~

Myth and Layla ran from the house as fast as they could.

Myth looked behind them and saw Dark Myths surrounding Layla's house.

He saw a secret cave that was used for parties in the other world. It was covered by a large rock, so it was hard to see at first.

Myth moved the rock out of the way, went inside, and pushed it back. As he the soon as the rock was pushed back, they heard a massive screech pass them. They both exhaled in relief and sat down.

A few minutes passed in complete silence.

"So I told you how I got here," Layla said, "how about you tell me how YOU got here."

So Myth told her how he died to save a little girl from a pink creature, and then about The Trials of Thorn.

Layla looked stunned. "S-s-so that really was you 10 years ago?!" Layla exclaimed in disbelief.

"Wait.." Myth said, "you.. you're that little girl I saved? WAIT. 10 YEARS AGO!?"

Myth felt dread pouring into his heart. "Do you know what happened with my family?" Myth asked.

"When you vanished," Layla started, "your family was heartbroken, but moved away a few days later."

Before they could say anything else, they heard a loud noise coming from outside the cave. They looked at the rock in fear as it crumbled to dust. Darkness filled the cave as Dark Myth appeared in front of them.

"Now where do you think you're going?" Dark Myth asked.

Myth stood up, and a sword appeared in his hand. He swung the sword at Dark Myth, but he dodged it. Dark Myth then proceeded to break Myth's arm. Myth fell to the ground.

"As come on.." Myth complained as he passed out from the pain.

Dark Myth was about to land the finishing strike to Myth when Layla grabbed Dark Myth's wrist and judo-flipped him on a rock.

He started to get up, but Layla kicked him in the head. She grabbed Myth's sword and impaled him through the chest, and Dark Myth turned into black dust and blew away.

~10:47 PM~

Layla sat by a fire in the woods. Myth was laying in a cabin nearby but still hasn't woken up. She was afraid that a Dark Myth would come to try and kill them, but so far, the coast was clear.

Layla started to fall asleep when she heard rustling from the trees. Several dark figures jumped between trees.

They all jumped in front of her. They were the pink creatures! And then they all grabbed a zipper and unzipped the costume to reveal six Dark Myths. They lunged at Layla when something flew past her head.

Myth had woken up and shot an arrow at the six Dark Myths, and they all turned to dust simultaneously. Layla looked back amazed that he could shoot a bow. But then Myth dropped it and held his arm in pain. Layla rushed to him and gave him a marshmallow from the fire.

Myth grabbed the marshmallow with his mouth And then stood up.

"We need to get moving," Myth said, "they know where we are. What time is it?"

Layla checked the clock in the cabin. "11:05." Layla sighed.

"I know what'll make the time go by faster," Myth said. He lead Layla to a secret tunnel near the hot springs. "I hope it's still here.." Myth mumbled.

They walked in, and Myth pressed a button on the wall. Suddenly there was a disco ball on the ceiling and a TV that was booting up Netflix.

And then they watched The Office.

Because why not.

~3:43 AM~

Myth checked the time, and his eyes widened.

"We have four minutes until we get outta here," Myth said, "so we'd better get outta the cave first." Myth pressed the button, and everything went away.

They got out of the cave and then ran to the hot springs. Layla then proceeded to trip and hit her knee.

Myth laughed and dragged her to the hot springs. Myth looked at his watch. 3:45 AM.

"Get ready to say it," Myth said. 3:46 AM.

A portal appeared next to Myth. A woman stepped out and grabbed him. "You're coming with me!" The woman said.

Just then, a Dark Myth shot a bow and killed the woman with a headshot.

The Dark Myth aimed his bow at Myth. Before he could Myth threw a rock at Dark Myth. "Inu taeus nuyamateus ohfeus Felworn, Ie haeuraseubeua gurasanutae yacacaeusasas taohp meua beohdoeua!" Layla and Myth exclaimed at the same time.

The hot spring turned red and swirly. An arrow hit Myth in his left arm. Myth screamed and then jumped in along with Layla.

Layla woke up in the closet she was in before she went in the portal.

She looked in a mirror and saw that her hair turned black and her eyes turned pale white. Layla then grunted and disappeared in a cloud of darkness.
