Myth ran through the hallway in the portal and jumped out.
As he exited, he saw several people in a group. He jumped out of the portal and tried to do a front flip to make first impressions, but instead tripped and face planted on the sidewalk.
They laughed and walked away.
Did they look like him? He looked for them, but couldn't find any trace of them.
"Fabulous.." Myth said sarcastically. He looked around at his surroundings, and it seemed like the place he just left.
Except it was remarkably devoid of life. It was also really quiet, to the point where his voice echoed.
Myth wandered around the town and ended up at his old first class.
It wasn't that long ago, but he felt a wave of sadness as he realized he would never go back.
Myth walked into the classroom and went to his old desk. He didn't remember anything the teacher said, which isn't anything unusual, because he forgets things quickly.
The weird part was when he looked in his desk, he saw his stuff, although it was covered in dust.
With his superhuman detective ability that many people hate, Myth deduced that he had not gone to a new world, but instead went to the future!
He walked out of the classroom and walked to his house. As he passed the corner, he saw another house next to it with the light on.
With newfound hope of other life, he ran to the house. He rang the doorbell. "GO AWAY!" A female voice screamed.
"Where is everybody," Myth asked, "and why do you want me to leave?"
"YOU'RE JUST LIKE THE OTHERS!" The girl yelled.
Confused, Myth opened the door and looked around. He got to a room and walked in.
Instantly, Myth saw the girl's foot from under the bed.
"I see you." Myth said.
The girl screamed and got out from under the bed. She tried to run away but ran right into him.
She stood up slowly and blinked.
"Are you real..?" The girl asked.
"Of course I am?" Myth said quizzically.
"Oh thank god!" The girl exclaimed. She hugged him and started crying.
"I'm just... so scared..." The girl sobbed.
"Let's start at the beginning," Myth said, "what's your name?"
"Layla," she said, "and what's yours?"
"Myth," Myth said, "so where is everybody?"
"I don't know," Layla started, "I was at school a few days ago, when I was pulled through a portal by a pink monster thing. I know I sound crazy, but I'm telling the truth!"
Myth sighed. "I hate those guys..." Myth said, "I'm not sure what they are, but what I do know is that I came through a portal and came here for some reason. Probably to help you. Now, what did you mean when you said I was 'just like the others?"
Layla explained to him that things that looked precisely like Myth have been terrorizing her.
"So that's who those people were.." Myth said. He didn't know what to do, but it seemed like Thorn wasn't gonna help him this time.
Myth heard Thorn's voice in his head. "Go to the hot springs and say 'Inu taeus nuyamateus ohfeus Felworn, Ie haeuraseubeua gurasanutae yacacaeusasas taohp meua beohdoeua!' At precisely 3:47 AM tomorrow!"
"Ok so here's the plan," Myth started, "at exactly 3:47 AM tomorrow, we go to the hot springs and say 'Inu taeus nuyamateus ohfeus Felworn, Ie haeuraseubeua gurasanutae yacacaeusasas taohp meua beohdoeua!' Make sense?"
Layla nodded. "Now all we need to do is survive until then," Layla said. As soon as Layla finished her sentence, the door flew off, and someone who looked exactly like Myth walked through the door.
"So that's where you've been hiding," Dark Myth said with an evil grin. With an instinct like lightning, Myth grabbed Layla's arm, kicked Dark Myth's balls, and ran out of the house.
