The Trials Begin

As Myth stepped through the first door, his clothes seemed to magically change.

For some reason.

Instead of battle armor, he was now wearing something like a school uniform.

The door was like a hallway, as in he had to walk a little bit.

As he passed through the doorway, he realized that he walked into a classroom, and the bell had just rung.

Myth sat down at a desk in the middle, and he heard Thorn's voice in his head.

"You will have 120 hours in this trial to complete it." Thorn said, "To complete it, you must do a certain task, which will remain unknown until you have completed it. My advice is to just go with the flow and act natural."

So Myth acted naturally. He made jokes. Awful ones. He liked making bad jokes so he could laugh while others stared at him.

In his real school, he felt really insecure, but here, everything just seemed to flow naturally.

In the middle of a joke, a girl passed Myth a note.

"Hi!" the note said, " as you know, prom is this Friday after school, and I was wondering if you would please go with me. -xoxo Sarah"

Myth looked at the girl, and she pointed to a cute girl in the back staring at Myth with heart eyes. He didn't know how to react, so he just went back to telling the joke.

After school was over, the girl named Sarah walked up to Myth. She looked at him expectantly, probably wanting an answer to her note from earlier.

"Hello," she said, "my name is Sarah, the one who wrote the note. As you can probably tell, I really like you, and I was wondering if you had an answer to the note."

Myth just looked at her for a second, because this was unfamiliar territory, but then came to his senses.

"Uhhh," Myth started, "I'll think about it."

After that, Myth went home. When he got there, he realized that he lived alone in a black house.

Not sure what else to do, he turned on the tv and started watching cartoons, cause you were never too old for those.

At around 3 AM that night, Myth decided that he should probably get some sleep.

He got in his PJs and passed out on his bed immediately.

He woke up a few hours later. Barely. Myth hated life right now but decided that he should probably get up.

It was Tuesday morning, which was better than Monday, but still.

He got dressed, not bothering to do anything else.

Well, he also put on deodorant, but only because it smelled like burgers.

When he got to school, he went to class, and the bell immediately rang.

"Call me lucky," Myth thought. He sat down in his desk and thought about memes.

Myth loves memes.

About 30 minutes into class, Myth felt a tap on his left shoulder, so he looked over. He expected it to be Sarah, but it was another girl.

She gave Myth a note, which said: "Hi, my name's Anna, what's yours?"

"Myth," Myth simply wrote. "Cool," Anna wrote, "so I was wondering if you would like to go to prom with me on Friday. Wanna?"

"I'll think about it," Myth wrote. Anna smiled at him and turned toward the teacher.

"Two girls want to go to prom with me?" Myth thought, "I wonder how I'm gonna mess this up."
