After school that day, Myth wanted a grape soda.
So he went home and opened the fridge. There was no grape soda?!
"Sigh," Myth said to himself. The only other place that had grape soda was Club Blue. They only had blue and purple drinks, probably because of the name.
So Myth disembarked on the harrowing trip to Club Blue which was like 70 feet away. So far.
When Myth arrived at Club Blue, he noticed that someone was being bullied.
It was Sarah! She was surrounded by a gang of wannabe gangsters. Myth walked up to the biggest one and tapped his shoulder.
"Excuse me," Myth said' "do you live in this neighborhood?"
"So what if I do?" The guy said.
"Well, there's this guy robbing houses in that area," Myth stated.
"What's he steal?" The guy asked.
"Cheese," Myth simply said.
The guy suddenly had a panicked look in his eyes. "C'mon boys," the guy said, "we gotta go protect my cheese!"
The group stormed off to the guy's house in a hurry.
Myth helped Sarah off the ground, her expression thankful with heart eyes.
"Oh thank you thank you!" Sarah said, "I thought something was gonna happen, but then you came!"
She looked like she was about to pass out, so Myth helped her into the Club and bought them both a grape soda.
Cause why not.
After she drank the magical grape soda of the grapes, she looked healthier and full of energy.
Sarah suddenly took out her chapstick and put it on.
"Wow, that soda was good!" Sarah said, "So... do you have an answer about prom yet?"
"Uhh..." Myth said, "not yet?"
"Ok!" Sarah exclaimed, "well, I hope you say yes because I'm really looking forward to going with you."
She leaned in for a kiss, but Myth grabbed his grape soda and started drinking it, to block the kiss.
Sure she was cute, but he wasn't going to get manipulated by some girl he didn't know well.
"I should probably get home." Myth said.
"Well ok," Sarah sighed, "I guess I'll see you at school tomorrow. Bye!"
Myth quickly left the Club and went home, eager to look at memes all night.
As he was about to fall asleep, Myth heard a noise come from his living room. He grabbed a large metal flashlight from his bedside table and walked out of his room.
Myth walked into the living room and saw a shadowy figure about the size of a person walking around.
He shined the flashlight at the figure, and it turned out to be a girl from his class!
"Excuse me," Myth said, "what are you doing in my house?" The girl looked kinda surprised to see that Myth was awake at this hour, but she quickly calmed down.
"Oh hi," the girl said, "I heard that someone was here. Someone I'm looking for."
"And who's that?" Myth asked.
"Someone who came from the real world." The girl said.
Myth looked surprised that anyone here knew about the real world.
Then again, Myth realized that he had begun to forget about the real world himself!
"How do you know about that?" Myth asked the girl.
"Do you know anyone by the name of Delario?" The girl asked.
"No, I don't think so," Myth said.
"Then why are you here?" The girl demanded.
"A guy named Thorn said that I had to complete four trials for him to regain his powers and send me home."
After he finished, the girl looked panicked but regained her composure.
"Well, it's as I suspected," the girl started, "but you are going to have to come with m-"
The girl got cut off by a shadow-like substance that fazed through the wall.
The girl looked really panicked now, but before she could scream, the substance devoured her.
Before it fled, Myth took the girl's weapon and attacked it. The substance faded, and about a split second later, a portal appeared in front of him.
"Go through the portal before it closes!" Thorn's voice echoed in Myth's head.
Myth jumped through the portal not knowing where he was going to end up.
