As Thera finished her sentence, the world, quite literally, disintegrated to dust. They shielded their eyes and coughed, as it was very dusty.
When Myth opened his eyes, he saw a familiar scene. Total darkness. He looked to his left and saw Thera standing there, looking just as confused as he was.
As soon as he realized where he was, Myth sighed and tears which started to form in his eyes.
Thera noticed and held him and comforted him.
"I thought that I was finally home," Myth whispered, "but I guess nothing good can happen to me." As if listening to Myth, the darkness subsided.
It revealed Delario, his dull blue hair waving in the wind. Wings, pure black, seemingly inhaled the darkness that surrounded them.
The room was kind of like the one Myth fought Mazus in, but Thorn was nowhere to be seen.
Thera recognized Delario from her mission briefing and immediately charged at him.
"DEMON!" Thera yelled as she approached her target. Faster than Myth could comprehend, Delario flung Thera into a wall.
"Who are you?" Myth asked, having regained composure.
"I am the one who brought you here. I am Delario, King of The Esea."
Myth took out a knife he had grabbed from his fake-reality, just in case, and stood in a battle position.
"Where's Thorn?" Myth asked, his tone unacceptable to most parents.
Delario laughed. "I am 'Thorn.'" He waved his hand across his face to reveal the face of, none other than, Thorn.
Myth growled at the thought that his friend was a false identity. "What about Layla? Is she real?" Myth asked.
"She was real," Delario said, "but after that little chant you did to escape that reality, a certain someone from my world obtained her form and locked away the real one."
Myth lunged at Delario, trying to catch him off guard, but Delario dodged easily.
"I suppose you want to know what the trials were for," Delario laughed, "the realities I sent you to held special items that were crucial for my escape from this blasted prison. I could only send my shadow there until the gatekeeper left."
Myth remembered the people who had tried to capture him before, and how they had gotten taken over by shadows soon after
"Once the gatekeepers were gone, I was free to send the Esea forces there and retrieve the items," Delario said, "and now I'm free to do whatever I want!"
Thera reappeared and tried to attack the demon from behind, but Delario blew her away once again.
"It would be easier to just kill you now," Delario stated, "but it would be much more entertaining to throw you in the middle of my army and watch them devour your body bit by bit." Delario paused. "Just like I did your father," he said with an evil smile.
Myth's mother said that his father was MIA(missing in action), and probably wouldn't be coming back anytime soon.
"What do you mean my fa-" Myth was cut off by a portal being opened behind him. He tried desperately to stand his ground. Thera jumped on Delario, trying to snap his neck, but he grabbed her and threw her at Myth, causing them both to go through the portal. The last thing they heard was the laugh of a demon.

Myth awoke on the ground to Thera holding a bucket of water, about to throw it on him.
