Imagine- you go to college with lip and you end up falling for the south side trash, but when he leaves to visit family he does more then just visit family.

"Hurry back, okay?" I said to lip as he's getting ready to leave college for a few days to go visit family.

"I will, promise" he said kissing the top of my head after, then we hugged and kissed one least time before he left. I walked back to my dorm room to finish my essay that was due tomorrow.

I was sitting at my desk typing when my phone starts to ring and i know its Lip because of the ringtone, its him saying, 'hey, pick up the phone, its the best person in the world', he recorded it himself.

"Hello" I said answering the phone.

"Hey, Y/n"

"Hey, how's your family?" I asked

"Good, good, hey since I'm not going to be at school can you turn my essay in for me?"

"Yeah, where is it?"

"It should be on your bed."

"Oh, yeah it is, I'll be sure to turn it in"

"Alright, thanks bye"

"By..." I was cut off by Lip hanging up, weird, I shook it off then finished my essay and placed mine and Lip's on my desk and went to bed.

In the morning I threw on a panic at the disco shirt and a pair of light blue skinny jeans with my black high top converse. I grabbed my bag threw it over my right shoulder and grabbed the essays and walked to my first class.

When I got there I turned in both the essays and and took a seat in the back. It was an easy day, all we did was have a study hall while the professor graded the essays.

"Miss. L/n" the professor called my name so I ran down and he handed me my essay. I was about to walk away when I remembered I had to get Lip's essay.

I turned around and said, "hey, um Lip is not here today so can I take his essay for him.?" The professor looked at me then nodded and handed me his essay,which he got a B+ on. I smiled to myself about his grade then thought, 'I should take his essay to him show his family how smart he is.' So I decided that I would take his essay to him after all my classes.

The day went by OK and now I could surprise Lip and give him his essay since I'm that good of a girlfriend.

I finally get to his house and I find Liam, Carl, and Debbie on the couch and Ian at the kitchen table. I walk up to him and say, "hey, Ian, Lip upstairs?"

He looks up quickly and says,"hey, Y/n um yeah he is but..." I didn't let him finish I was starting to head up the stairs until Ian grabbed my arm and pulled me down and said, "you can't go up there."

"Why not." I said with a confusing look on my face. He was getting ready to say something but was interrupted by a loud noise from upstairs. I raised my eyebrows as I looked at Ian and I knew he was hiding something from me. He gave me a sympathetic look and sighed deeply and let go of my arm and let me run upstairs.

When I got upstairs I saw the worst thing imaginable, Karen Jackson screwing my boyfriend on his bed. "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!" I yelled with my arms out. Lips head shot up and his eyes widened. "I came here to bring you your damn essay cause I'm that good of a girlfriend, but I come to find my boyfriend fucking an utter bitch!" I yell trying to keep the tears that were threatening to spill from spilling.

"Y/n I can explain.." He started

"No, No I can't believe I actually thought that a fucking Gallagher would be loyal." I said and running my hand through my hair after. "Whatever, here." I said throwing the necklace he gave me for my birthday last month at him.

I turned around to walk downstairs but was stopped when Karen said, "bye, sweety I'll keep your boyfriend company."

I stopped in my tracks and turned around and looked at her and walked up a little and said, "YOU TWO ASSHOLES DESERVE EACH OTHER, I'M SO HAPPY FOR THE BOTH OF YOU. AND PLEASE FUCK HIM ALL YOU WANT KAREN, AND LIP FUCK YOU GO ROT IN HELL." I yelled at them then took a deep breath and ran downstairs with Lip saying my name and following me.

I got down stairs where everyone was listening Ian gave me a sad look and Fiona said, "what happened?" She could tell something was up since in was crying at this point. I shook my head and walked outside and got in my Chevy truck and and was about drive off but was stopped by Lip.

"Please just let me explain."

"I can't, I just can't." I said then drove off leaving behind a sad Lip Gallagher.

I got to my dorm and shut the door and sat down with my back on the door and just cried for what felt like hours until I finally got up and went in my bed.

I got up at like 2:35 in the morning to my phone ringing and it was Lip cause it still has that ringtone that he recorded I ignored it then I kept getting calls and text from Lip. Then I get a call from Fiona smile and answer.

"Y/n I am so sorry Ian just told me what happened are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah I'm..I will be fine." I answered her.

"Okay well if you need anything just call.." She got interrupted by lip yelling, "is that Y/n, Y/n, Y/n

please talk to me just let me explain I...." I hung up cause I couldn't deal with it not yet.

Its been about a month or so since the thing with Lip happened and I'm doing better but its been hard on Lip. Ian and I have been hanging out a lot and its been kinda nice.

I was at the Alibi so I could get a free drink from Kev. I was drinking my whiskey when someone walks in and I hear a familiar voice say, "hey Kev, a beer." It was Lip.

I finished my drink and was about to leave but before I even got up Lip says, "Y/n?, Y/n!" I quickly get up and go out the back but he was right behind me. "Y/n, how.....have you been?" He asked.

"Good, good you?" I asked.

"I've been missing you, a lot." He answered "can you please just hear me out?" I looked down to hide the tears and nodded. He smiled and said, "she found me in a hard time and then she started to kiss me and I went with it, I'm sorry OK, so can I have a second chance?"

I shook my head and looked up so I would be looking him straight in the eye and said, "giving someone a second chance is like giving someone a second bullet so they can hurt you again. And I can't because I've been hurt to many times and I can't take another hit. So can we first just try to fix it by being friends and nothing more until I'm ready?" I asked.

He smiled and started to nod his head rapidly and said, "yeah I'd love that." Then he picked me up in a hug.
