Pregnancy (CarlGallagher) part 2

It's been a about a year since I told Carl I was pregnant and now I'm living in an apartment with my baby girl, Mia. Ian and the rest of the Gallaghers come and checks in now and then but most of the times it's just you and the baby. 

I have a job at Patsy's Pies, and I have Debbie to babysit Mia. Right now Its about 3 or 4 in the afternoon and I have Mia on my hip swaying her to sleep, when I hear a knock at my door. Thinking it was just one of the Gallagher's I opened it and to my surprise it was one of the Gallagher's just not who you were expecting. "What are you doing here, I though you had a year?" I said adjusting Mia. 

"I got out early for good behavior." He stated.

"No, seriously who did you bribe to bust you out."

"Funny." He said with a small laugh at the end."

"Well I never thought you, Carl Gallagher, could be good." 

"Well, guess you were wrong." 

"Yeah." I said with a small laugh.

It was silence for awhile until Carl broke it , "sooo...is that...?" He said gesturing towards Mia who was asleep on my shoulder. 

"Our kid, yeah." I said laying her down in her play pin that sits in the living room.

"What's her name?"

"Mia."

"Mia....?"

"Mia L/n."

"Oh." He said with a hurt expression on his face. Then he looked up , moved closer to me and said, "maybe we could change her name, if it's okay with you?"

He started to lean in to kiss me until I stopped him and said, " I'll think about it, but maybe before we do anything we can take things slow?"

"Yeah, I'd like that as long as I can be in her life ."

"If you wanna be, cause I'm not forcing you to do anything." 

"I want to, I really do." He said with a smile on his face then soon a smile grew on my face.

"That's great." I said with soft laugh. "Wait how did you get my address?" 

"That would be Lip."he said laughing.

"Damn that kid." I said then pulled Carl in for small kiss that soon got heated but before anything could happen I broke it and asked, "beer?"

"Sound great." He said then I walked into the kitchen and grabbed two beers out of the fridge then walked back over to Carl and handed him one of the beers. He took it and opened it  and I did as well and we sat on the couch then for the rest of the day we just talked until the baby started to cry.

"You got this one." I said smirking at him, he shook his head and got up and walked over to Mia and picked her up swayed her in his arms. I sat on th couch and watched him sway her back to sleep.
