Hikari and Miyuki were watching the gamer a little closer. Hikari was waiting in anticipation. Her gut was telling her something big was going to happen. Hikari watched as the upperclassmen had a huddle. Hikari smiled when she saw Kawakami reassure his catcher. However, when Hikari caught a good look at Eijun she felt herself sweatdrop.
‘Oi, don’t be so creepy. The only reason you got on base was because of an accident.’ Hikari thought
Hikari watched as they got another batter out.
‘That’s two outs in a row don’t they even care that Eijun is on base?’Hikari asked herself
About that time Furuya stood up and raised his hand.
“Excuse me.”He said gaining everyone’s attention “I don’t have anything to do, anymore. May I go train on my own?”
Every first year was shocked and whined.
‘What are you guys winning about? Furuya is only a good pitcher, if you all aren’t going to do anything while you are batting then there is no reason to continue this game.’ Hikari thought
Furuya walked over to Hikari and Miyuki.
“You sure about that, Monster Rookie?”Miyuki asked “Not gonna watch until the end.”
“Don’t call Fu-chan that! Hello Furuya my name is Takashima Hikari, we will be working together a lot now that you are on regulars team.”Hikari replied
Furuya nodded at her.
“It’s already over.”Furuya said to answer Miyuki’s question
About that time a Eijun shouted:
“Don’t give up! The game has just begun.”
With that Hikari smirked.
‘Eijun has the making of a true Ace….but right now he needs to work on his pitching.’ Hikari thought
“A single man can’t lead the team to victory.”Furuya said “Baseball isn’t that simple.”
About that time Hikari got a random chill down her spine.
“What’s wrong Hikari?”Miyuki asked when he saw her shake.
“Something is going to happen.”Hikari said
About that time a voice shouted:
“I’d like to announce a member change.”
Everyone turned to look at the person.
“I’m playing as the pinch hitter.” the boy said
Miyuki smirked and Hikari looked at the new batter.
“Looks like there’s another interesting guy.”Miyuki said
Hikari watched as this new batter walked over to the pitcher and coach. He bowed to them.
“Let’s have a good fight. “he said
Hikari turned to Miyuki and said:
“Does he remind you of someone?”
Miyuki looked back at her.
“Is he suppose to?”Miyuki asked
“No I guess not, but I can’t help but see Ryo-nii when I look at that first year.”Hikari replied
Hikari and Miyuki watched as the boy started doing random signs.
“I hate to tell him, but if he is bluffing the wrong person is on base.”Hikari said
