Chapter 25 - The Hunt

"My Lord I swear I do not know where she is! I thought she was dead," Snape pleaded

"Bellatrix was it or was it not Aliah Snape that you saw?" Voldemort hissed

"It was my Lord, she looks just like her Father," Bellatrix spat

"crucio," Voldemort casted at Snape. Draco felt his Mother squeeze his hand tightly as his Professor screamed in pain in their sitting room.

"My Lord if I may intervene?" Lucius stepped forward. Voldemort stopped the spell and pointed his wand at Lucius

"what is it Lucius?"

"I saw the girl, she was possessed. She transformed into a raven and flew through the window,"

"she is an animagus,"

"No my Lord, she flew through the window, as if it wasn't there at all. I believe she was possessed by the High Priestess, the lost witch,"

"Who?" Voldemort asked. Bellatrix quickly explained the story while eyeing her sister. The youngest Black inherited all the books as she was the reader in the family and Bellatrix knew, that one of them had the High Priestess curse in it.

"We need to find her. She will help us," Voldemort smiled sickly

"My Lord she cannot be controlled," Lucius said, earning himself the cruciatus curse. Draco held his Mother up so she shouldn't leap forward and earn herself the curse

"My Lord as much as I hate to disagree with Lucius, I agree with him on this," Bellatrix looked as if she threw up in her mouth, "the stories are legend in our families. This witch cannot control her abilities and kills pure-bloods and anyone in her way,"

"I still see no reasoning here. I want you Bellatrix to gather the rest and hunt this witch down and brought back to me alive," Voldemort said his last words before disapparating. Bellatrix gulped and looked at her sister in fear

"Cissy-"

"Don't. You will return with her and you will both be alive and well,"

"Cissy stop dreaming for once. We both know the stories," Bellatrix ran to her sister and hugged her, "I love you Cissy, bye for now,"

"Bella-" before Narcissa could finish Bellatrix left the room

"Is my daughter really possessed by the High Priestess?" Snape said

"Yes Severus," Lucius looked up at his old friend

"I'll go with Bellatrix," Snape said

"No. The Dark Lord tasked you with Hogwarts," Narcissa snapped, "I do not want my son returning to Hogwarts under the influence of anyone else who does not care what happens to him,"

"Cissa-" Lucius reached out to his wife

"No Lucius!" Narcissa slapped his hand away, "I need you at Hogwarts to protect my son. You know if anything happened to him because you went off looking for Aliah she will never forgive you, especially if she kills you! That is if she is still inside,"

"She is! My daughter is strong and fierce she will fight the witch,"

"Mother do you honestly think that Aliah will never return to us?" Draco asked with tears in his eyes. Narcissa grabbed his hands. She looked from Snape to her son

"I honestly don't know Draco. I do not know."
