The screams.

The screams were the only thing she could hear in her head. The smell of smoke filled her nose. Her clothes and body soaked from the waves that covered her like a blanket. The sun shone on her still body, her black hair fanned around her head.

Aliah jolted awake and coughed up the water from her lungs. She turned around to go on her hands and knees and crawled away from the cold water. Slowly, she stood up and brushed off the sand.

Aliah turned around took in her surroundings. She was on some sort of beach lined with trees. Aliah looked down at her appearance. Her red jumper was ripped and her black jeans were now at an odd length.

Aliah gasped and quickly felt around for her two knives in the back of her jeans. She let out a sigh of relief at the familiar felling of the two handles. She moved her hands back in front of her and ran her right arm up her left. The textured feeling of her snake armband was there where she had left it.

Aliah pulled out her knives in each hand and walked along the beach. There had to be someone or something to tell her where she was. The sound of the crashing waves allowed Aliah to think. The last she remembered was Draco and her studying. Aliah cradled her hand, her white gold ring glistened in the setting sun.

Aliah deserted her search along the shore and decided to make some sort of camp within the trees. As she made her way up the hill and into the tree line, she was disturbed by a crack sound. Aliah whipped her head around. She held the Malfoy knife to her chest, the blade pointing outwards and the other close to her hip. She bent low, eyes closed and listened to the sound of movement. Her eyes snapped open at the sound of the familiar screech.

"She must be here!" Bellatrix screeched

"How can you be so sure?" a deep voice sounded

"You doubt me?" Bellatrix paused. Obviously she was somehow threatening her companion, "I did a spell to trace her magic. It's so powerful and if she has the High Priestess curse, it must be her. ALIAH? COME OUT, COME OUT AND PLAY!"

Aliah had a choice to make. She either could give herself up and return to her fiancé and possibly die or run and possibly die.

"sorry Draco," Aliah mumbled. In a quick fluid move, Aliah jumped up and ran as fast as she could.

"THERE!" a voice yelled. Aliah willed her legs to move despite the burning feeling in them. She didn't dare look behind her. She leaped onto a rock with her left leg and jumped onto the low branch with her right. Aliah wrapped her arms onto the branch with her body dangling.

Aliah heard voices behind her. She had to move faster. She swung her body up but her legs missed the branch.

"LITTLE SNAPEY! WHERE ARE YOU?" Bellatrix cried cheerfully. Aliah's heart thumped against her chest. She swung her body forward and kicked the trunk and finally managed to wrap her legs around the branch. Aliah hauled herself up and laid down, hoping they wouldn't see her. Aliah thought about climbing higher to a thicker branch but it was too late. Aliah prayed that the branch will hold until they left.

Bellatrix and two other men were with her. One of the men Aliah recognised as Fenrir Greyback.

"She's not here Bellatrix, you must've been wrong," Greyback snarled. Bellatrix turned and pressed her wand against his chest

"Want to say-" Bellatrix was cut off by the cracking of a branch. All eyes looked up at the branch Aliah was on.

"No, no, this is not happening," Aliah thought. The branch cracked and it fell, with Aliah on it. She fell with a thud on the ground, her knives out of her grasp.

"Well, well, well," Bellatrix smirked with her hands on her hips. "Look who it is fellas. Its little Snape. And who doubted me?"

Greyback gave a snort.

"Get her!" Bellatrix ordered.
