Also I want to state that in some fanfics after they battle they always are timed down, but that's not true. They have 5 minutes after they use their special power.

July 2nd, 12 Days until the Ball [Night]
"Marinette, will you listen to me?" Adrien called out again. After the reveal he wouldn't leave when Marinette told him to, so she left. Adrien is running to catch up. It was almost dark now. The sun was setting.

"Why's she running?" Plagg asked. He was in Adrien's pocket. "She likes you, you like her. Shouldn't that mean happy ending for you and more Camembert for moi?"
Marinette started to run even faster to avoid Adrien, but her injuries were worse than she realized and she fell down from pain. "Aaah!" She started to bleed. What else could go wrong? The sunset blinded her as blood bled from her chest. Tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Marinette!" Tikki yelled. She held Marinette's hand as Adrien ran to catch up.

"Marinette!" He ran to her side. She was definitely in pain, but she refused to look at him. No one else was in the street so he did what he had to. "Claws out." He said. Green sparks flew around him as he quickly transformed to Chat Noir.

"Mari, I don't know what's wrong with you, so I'm taking you to the hospital."

Marinette's eyes closed. Under her breath, Marinette solemnly whispered: "A broken heart."

"What was that? Chat Noir said, lifting her up to take to the hospital.
"Nothing." She replied. Chat lifted her bridal style and she held onto his shoulder, her tears continued to flow down, and mixed with the blood on her chest. The blood however didn't stain Chat's magic superhero suit. The blood hit the ground instead. Splattering everywhere. Tikki was still holding on to Marinette.

"Please Mari. Hold on."

Chat ran as fast as he could to the hospital. He used his baton for help getting there fast. Blood covered the pavement in a straight line for blocks.

{Marinette's house, minutes before the reveal}

"Any news?" Sabine asked Tom.

"Still nothing." He said.

After the Akuma Attack, Marinette's parents realized that Marinette was no where to be found. They contacted Alya and Nino to see if they knew where she was, but it was no help. They were just as clueless.
But when they heard she was missing, they came over to help search. The police was looking. Nino contacted Adrien, but he didn't pick up the call.

"I hope she alright. I spoke to her right before he Akuma Attack." Alya said. Nino put an arm around his girlfriend. She held the hand that was around her shoulder.

"Where could she have gone?" Nino said.

"I don't know. Thanks for being here. You two are amazing friends." Sabine said.

"Well actually, Alya is my girlf- Nino started.
Alya elbowed him in the gut. "She meant amazing friends to MARI."

"Oh."

Tom looked at the clock. "5pm. It's been 5 hours since we saw her."

"5pm!" Alya shouted. "I'm so so sorry Sabine and Tom, but I got a possible link to who Chat Noir and Ladybug are and I'm meeting the security council in 20 minutes. I have to go."
