July 7th, 7 Days until the Ball [Sunset]
"Marinette! Please. There's a bright side to every dark side. It'll be fine... please say something..." TIkki pleaded. Marinette was crying and held her knees to her face. "Marinette. It's been a while. Say anything. Stop the sadness from taking over." Tikki touched Marinette's shoulder. Mari moved away from Tikki's touch.
She looked up, her eyes went from being a pretty bluebell to a deep blue against the light sunset behind her. The light and its moths came dangerously close.
Marinette finally spoke. Her voice was cold and full of heart-broken tears.
"Go away. I'm not in the mood for some pep talk about hope and happiness. " Marinette got up to walk away but stopped.
Suddenly, Marinettes eyes turned wicked purple. the same way Max's eyes turned. It's too late. Marinette spoke in a loud, strong voice.
"Everything's shattered. Everything's gone.
Everything's ruined. I was a pawn.
Time will go by. My power will grow.
Beware. No longer a friend, but a foe.
Love dies, hatred goes on. Evil will be won,
At the hands of Lady Fortune."
Tikki cried. "I'm so sorry Marinette, I should have told you. Now I hope Chat Noir can fix it." She took the Ladybug Miraculous off of Marinette. Tikki held the earrings in her small hands and flew as fast as she could to Adrien's mansion. History will not repeat. She thought. If I get to Adrien's in time, everything will be fine. Right?
Marinette watched Tikki fly away. "Good riddance bug." she spat.
