July 11, 3 Days until the Ball [Morning]
Adrien stumbled into class, still sleepy from a late akuma attack last night. Thankfully, Ms. Bustier hasn't arrived yet. Marinette was talking with her head on the desk. She was also tired from the late attack.
"Hey Adrien, Marinette was just telling us what happened yesterday." Nino said.
"I can't believe that you're wearing a one of a kind dress - to a school ball." Alya said, shrieking. She grabbed Marinette's arms and shook them.
"Well, its amazing and special, but not one of a kind." Marinette said, yawning. She was still recovering from Alya's shaking.
"Did she tell you about Lila, yet?" Plagg whispered loudly, from Adrien's coat pocket..
"Lila?" Alya and Nino asked.
"She slapped me," Marinette said, slightly tilting her face so Alya cold see the small black and blue.
"Lila is the girl who pretended to know Ladybug, to know you, right?" Nino said.
"Yep. Then she became Volpina and pretended to be a superhero." Tikki said. She was eating a cookie in Marinette's lap.
"Lila is rich, somehow 'popular', and bullies people. Chloe and Lila hate each other, but could be twins." Alya joked. Lila walked into the class as Alya finished talking.
[According to some people, Lila is in their class, but in the episode it states that she's new to the school, NOT in their class.]
"I heard that!" Lila said, strutting into the classroom. She dropped her backpack in front of Nino "Hi Adrien.." she flirted. She sat down on his desk facing him.
"Go away, Lila." Adrien said. The rest of the class was now all looking at Lila. Everyone had a disgusted look on their face, except for Marinette who had an expression that said 'I'm too tired to deal with your crud.'
Lila jumped off the desk, and flicked her finger on Adrien's chin. Marinette glared at her. "Don't worry. I'm on my way. I just walked to talk." Lila looked at Marinette, and glared at her. "To you, Marinette. We didn't exactly finish or conversation."
"I think we did. Please leave." Marinette said. Lila laughed.
"You might be Mr. Agreste's intern, but you'll mess up. You'll get fired. Once your fired, I'll come back for Adrien. He'll eventually realize you're nothing. I can wait."she laughed.
The bell rung, and Lila grabbed her bag. Then Lila walked out of the room.
"Good riddance." Chloe said. "What was she talking about?"
"Yesterday she slapped me, and almost got fired by Mr. Agreste for it." Marinette said. She fidgeted with her pencil as people came over to the desk to look at the bruise. She was used to attention as Ladybug, but as Marinette...not really.
Then Nathaniel and Ms. Bustier came in. Nathaniel almost tripped on the stairs while going to his desk.
"Sorry I'm late!" Ms. Bustier said. "Can everyone take your seats?" Everyone sat down, still whispering about the encounter with Lila. "Let's go over the homework."
"She hates me as Ladybug and as Marinette." Marinette whispered to Tikki and Alya.
"She's something alright." Tikki said.
2 minutes later
Lila asked to go to her locker. She left her class and started to walk to her locker. I hate her. I hate Marinette. One day she'll be sorry. One day, I'll get revenge on Marinette, and on my ultimate enemy, Ladybug. Lila thought.
