♢♧●Trust is a two way street●♧♢

Katrina's eyes fluttered open slowly, the morning forcing her eyes to feel taped shut with molasses. She rubbed them and yawned, having had better a rest than she may have thought. Better than Chanel at least, not wanting to bother Katrina, Chanel had watched the store out front for the whole night. Dark, heavy bags lay visible under her eyelids, her fingers stiff from holding the gun in the same ready position for hours. Katrina stretched her arms out, yawing yet again. She walked outside to see Chanel still sitting there, like she didn't move at all the whole night. Despite being very grumpy and sleep deprived Chanel gave a smile and greeted Katrina.

"You get a good night's sleep?" She asked in a drowsy tone yet not giving off any attitude to annoy Katrina.

"Yeah, I see you didn't though" Katrina giggled while Chanel rolled her eyes cracking a small smile in response.

"Ok we need a plan for the day, we need supplies, food, water, stuff like that. And by food and water I mean such that won't give us a heart attack, this store has a lot of drunks and food but it's all junk. So we'll start with that" Chanel began, her facial expressions changing to a serious countenance. Although Katrina was annoyed how they couldn't even have one minute of just having fun she sighed and listened to Chanel.

"There were some gas stations on the way here, we could check those. They didn't seem to be as ransacked as this one by looking through the window." Chanel nodded, "Good start, after that we should look for more weapons, we don't exactly have an armory. After that, well we can go from there." Katrina agreed with a simple nod.

"Here, you should have one of these." Chanel handed her one of the guns she had and refilled her own with ammo.

"Ready to head out?" Chanel asked, Katrina nodded and checked that the gun was loaded. She cracked her neck and took a breath. Both girls walked out of the store and onto the street lined with stores, most looking cleaned out. They walked into a small gas station, the one Katrina had mentioned before, there was a good amount of supplies.

"Jackpot" Katrina said with a smile and began grabbing items.

"Remember only grab the essentials, if we have to leave the store we don't want to have to carry a lot."
Chanel warned, Katrina secretly rolled her eyes and put back half the things she found because apparently they weren't 'essential'. They left the store after grabbing several water bottles and lots of canned foods such as beans, beef stew, etc. All able to cook with a simple fire.

They headed back to the store and noticed the door was wide open. Chanel outstretched her arm to stop Katrina who was talking, not realizing the door.

"Shush, seems like we have a visitor." She said in a whisper. Katrina stayed behind Chanel as she walked in to check it out. Inside the store in the far corner a girl could be seen, she was rummaging through the shelves. She seemed to be rummaging through the medical section. She wore black combat boots and camo pants with a black belt and a black T-shirt, and lastly her  red-orange hair was tied up. Chanel took one step in, remaining undetected, and raised her gun seemingly to Katrina's surprise.

"Who are you" Chanel asked with a deep, intimidating voice. Katrina stayed a few feet behind her as the girl turned around, a few strands of her hair having fallen out of her ponytail.

"I came for supplies, I was unaware that anyone was staying here" She said in a nearly monotone voice, her facial expression stoic.
