"LET ME OUT"
The three turned their attention to the door of the storage room, eyes wide with horror. Grace gasped loudly, only now taking in what had just happened to one of the most important people in her life. No, the most important person in her life. She clenched her jaw tightly, moving her gaze to Katrina's fear strucken face.
"You..did..this.." Grace muttered between heavy breaths.
"Grace I-"
"SHUT UP!" Grace screamed, cutting off Katrina.
"He helped you, he tried to bring you back. And all you do is stupidly wave around a gun in order to kill someone. You do realize you've stooped to her level right? That Mason's death was for nothing?" Tears furiously fell down Grace's cheaks.
"You think you'll feel any better if you kill her? Do you?!" Grace gasped, sobs forcefully stopping her words as she fell to the ground next to Mason.
"Mason..I'm so sorry.." She cried, Katrina's disposition saddened, close to shedding tears. Another bang sounded from the storage room, along with sickening laughter.
"Awww, who died? Was it mister do good? Mister weakling that needed to be freaked out by the psycho to even leave the house to find the girl?" Estella laughed hilariously.
"What a shame, but the weakling always dies in such a terrible way." Estella chuckled. Grace's eyes burned with anger.
"How dare you.." she muttered, head hovering over Mason's body.
"What was that darling?" Estella coaxed.
"Grace, don't pay attention to her..please.." Ava pleaded, but to no avail.
"I said.." Grace stood up, ready to kick down the door Estella was cowardly trapped behind.
"How." Grace began to walk towards the door with a frightening purpose.
"Dare." She continued.
"Grace, no!" Ava rushed over trying to push Grace down, but Grace shoved her back, knocking Ava down with a hard thud.
"YOU" Grace yelled, throwing the chair blocking the door onto Ava. Estella's laughter became more prominent as the door of the storage room creaked open.
"You're funny." Estella's smirk turned into a scowl. Grace's face suddenly filled with fear, before she could run Estella had grabbed her by the throat.
Katrina stood frozen where she was, unable to comprehend anything at this point.
"Katrina, snap out of it!" Ava yelled, beginning to get up from the ground, holding her head.
"Estella stop!" Ava yelled angrily. Estella smirked.
"No thanks." She squeezed Grace's throat hard, shoving her against a wall. Grace gasped for air, bairly breathing.
Ava fumed, picking up the chair from the ground.
"I said, STOP" Ava swung the chair full force at Estella's back, causing her to drop Grace. Ava looked to Grace concerningly, only to get a glare in response. As Ava was distracted Estella turned around and punched her square in the jaw. The two broke out into a fight.
Grace crawled quickly out of the way, finding herself looking up at Katrina, still frozen. Grace stood up with furrowed brows and stared straight into Katrina's eyes. With a quick motion she slapped her.
"Snap out of it." Grace said in a stern demaning voice. Katrina gasped, holding her face in her hand.
"Give me your gun." Grace demanded yet again.
"What are y-"
"Gun. Now." Grace interrupted, more serious then she's ever been. Katrina remained still. Grace sighed.
"I can't believe you." Grace picked the gun off the floor herself, turning to Ava and Estella's fight, a fight that Ava was losing. Her face was cut open, her nose bleeding, and her arm may have even been broken. Estella continued delivering punch after punch.
"Ava, move!" Grace shouted, gun aimed. Ava gasped and jumped out of the way immediatley. Estella smirked at the gun.
"Silly girl, you won't pull the trigger, I know your kind." Estella teased.
"You don't know me." Grace growled. Grace squeezed her finger, pulling the trigger as a bullet went straight through Estella's skull. Ava and Katrina's faces went blank as she fell to the floor motionless. Katrina opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted by Grace.
"Shut up Katrina. I don't care what you have to say. You ruined my life, you changed me and at first I thought I became a better person. Less weak, less cowardly, less afraid. But you broke me, you turned into a monster. I just killed someone! And it's your fault. You killed the only person who could fix this, you killed Mason.." Grace said, escalating to a yell. Katrina tried to approach Grace, but again to no avail.
Grace simply shook her head."I'm taking his body and I'm going to bury him behind the store. Then I'm leaving and I'm never coming back." Grace picked up Mason's body with only little struggle and headed out behind the store.
Before Katrina could try to convince her to stay Ava put a hand on her shoulder.
"Let her go." Ava said softly. Katrina looked to her in pained disbelief.
"You really think you can come over here and try to comfort me after what you've done?" Katrina said angrily. Ava sighed, removing her hand from Katrina's shoulder.
"Katrina you know how sorry I am, I would take back my actions if I could. I just want things to go back to how they were before." Katrina fought her urge to talk back, she paced the store, heading over to Estella's body.
"Please Katrina, I'm apologizing, I was on your side today! Doesn't that mean anything?" Ava didn't see where Katrina went, for she began to pace too. While Ava was unaware, Katrina picked up her gun and hid it behind her back.
"You'll forgive me, right? I can't stay here alone and you can't either. We can make it together, right?" Ava turned to look at Katrina, not seeing the gun. Ava smiled hopefully, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Answer me, please." Katrina didn't speak, but pulled out her gun from behind her back and aimed it at Ava. Ava's face saddened as she began to heavily cry. Katrina sighed and pulled the trigger.
Ava's crying was silenced as her body toppled to the ground. Katrina stood with a stoic countenance, towering above Ava's dead body.
Behind the store Grace could hear a gunshot, without thinking she ran to the front. She walked through the front door, stopping dead in her tracks as she saw the scene in front of her.
"Oh my god.." Grace's face filled with fear as Katrina turned to the voice that had broken her sweet silence, and stared.
