Author's Note: I know I haven't been updating much (don't worry this is a story part) but I have been pretty busy with chores and school starting, however I will try to update every Saturday. Also if anyone would be so kind, could someone read through each chapter I post and sortabe my editor? Just message me the paragraph and sentences the errors are in and I'll fix them. Thank you and enjoy this long overdue story part ❤

The three girls had settled down for the night, Katrina sleeping in the storage room again, Ava in the bathroom (she insisted she was fine without any blankets) and Chanel taking the first watch again.
The night had been quiet, thankfully. Ava woke up in the middle of the night and went out to Chanel, about to offer to take the second shift. She figured Chanel must be exhausted.
"Hey." Ava voiced, breaking the silence and making Chanel jump a little bit. Chanel cleared her throat before answering.
"Everything ok, Katrina's good?" She asked, Ava took note of how much she seemed to care for Katrina.
"Yeah..this 'Katrina' girl, who is she to you?" Ava asked. Chanel raised her eyebrow.
"Why do you wanna know?" Chanel responded defensively. Ava held her hands up.
"Calm it down, I just noticed you seem to really care for her." Ava responded with some attitude. Chanel gave a sigh and rubbed her eyes.
"She's my sister." Chanel responded tiredly.
"I see.." Ava was silent for a moment. "You'd do just about anything for your family." Ava said, her head down slightly. Chanel nodded, a bit confused as to where she was going with this. "You wouldn't leave them behind, like you made me do" Chanel sighed as Ava spoke, about to speak until Ava continued talking again. "- Like you did with your parents." Ava finished with a dark tone. Chanel's countenance hardened as she stood up to face Ava.
"How do you know about that." Chanel said in a stern voice with a tint of anger. Ava gave a smirk.
"You're lovely sister told me, seems to me you aren't the best kind of person. She may love you because you're her sister but I have no relation to you. I'm keeping my eye on you Chanel." Ava said, getting seriously in Chanel's face. Chanel should have had smoke coming out of her ears, she was infuriated.
"You stay away from me you-" Chanel started to get in Ava's face now before she cut Chanel off.
"Now, now, you must be exhausted." Ava started with a fake smile, purposely annoying Chanel. "Better get some sleep, wouldn't want anything bad to happen to your sister-" Before Ava could finish Chanel grabbed her by the throat and slammed her against the wall.
"You touch my sister and you'll be dead before you can even call out for help." Chanel said with a hiss and threw Ava to the ground, walking inside and immediately checking on Katrina.
Ava followed Chanel with a glare as she walked inside. She grabbed her own throat and rubbed it a bit, cursing under her breath. She slumped down against the outside wall and kept watch, constantly making sure Chanel wasn't behind her.

Sorry this was a shorter chapter but it will be more like that from now on, I'll try to make them longer when I can.
