When the group got back to the store Katrina showed the new people around the small shop, an unnecessary act but she needed something to do during all this. Chanel busied herself with sorting out rations for everyone and setting up sleeping arrangements for the group of five.

“Soo, where will we be sleeping? It’s getting pretty late..” Grace said, interrupting Katrina’s little tour.

“Uh-” Katrina looked to Chanel who responded with a simple nod and hurried over to explain sleeping arrangements and such with her over-prepared spiel.

“Grace and Katrina will have the storage room, Mason in the bathroom with me and Ava switching off for keeping watch.” Chanel gave a nod as she finished. Ava heard from afar and raised an eyebrow.

“So I see you don’t trust me to be with your sister, think I’ll influence her to hate you or something?” Ava said with a smirk, Chanel glared at her hatefully. Katrina cleared her throat,

“Are you sure you don’t want anyone else helping you guys with taking shifts to keep watch?” Katrina said, changing the subject. Chanel sighed, slightly relieved that her sister changed the subject.

“It’s fine Katrina, we got it.” Katrina nodded and Mason cut in.

“Um why am I sharing a room with g-” Mason began but Ava cut him of sassily.

“Deal with it big boy you aren’t getting your own room because of you’re a guy, don’t worry we don’t bite.” Ava said, teasingly ‘biting the air’ and laughing as Chanel shot her an annoyed glare. Grace looked uncomfortable and Ava put her hand up.

“It was a joke sweetheart, lighten up.” Ava gave her a small smile, Grace gave an awkward smile back and nodded. Mason sighed and simply nodded.

“Well it's getting late, start setting up for the night.” Chanel announced.

“What's the plan for tomorrow?” Mason asked, Chanel thought for a moment and Ava cut in.

“Looking for more survivors, right Chanel?” Ava gave Chanel a sarcastic smile and Chanel rolled her eyes.

“Fine, not like we have anything else to do. But some of us will have to get more supplies so we have enough for everyone.” Everyone nodded and separated to start settling down for the night..
Ava was about to head to her ‘room’ before Chanel pulled her aside.

“Whatever you’re planning, leave Katrina out of it.” She whispered in a hiss. Ava giggled and over-dramatically bent over and slapped her own knee.

“Chanel, Chanel, Chanel,” she started, then suddenly her face turned deathly serious. “You have no right to tell me what to do.” She said in a sinister tone. Before Chanel could respond she glided into the bathroom,

“Call me when it’s my shift, buddy.” With that she closed the door, leaving Chanel fuming.

Mason opened the door to the bathroom to see Ava already in there, her ‘pajamas’ being a bra and short-shorts. Mason sighed and placed his hand to his head.

“You did this on purpose didn’t you.” He said tiredly.

“It’s a possibility, but don’t worry, just wanted to see the reaction.” She chuckled and grabbed a baggy t-shirt from the corner of the room and pulled it over her head.

“Better?”

“Much.” Mason said and sat down, looking quite overwhelmed. Ava smirked without Mason noticing and turned to face him, a few feet away.
