Chapter 11: It's For The Best

Should I read his texts? I shook my head and walked back to my bed to lay down. My phone vibrated again but I ignored it. I wasn't ready to face him. I always run when I'm scared and I guess that's why I don't really have friends because I always push them away. I really don't want to push Ash away but it just happens.

I slowly took out my phone and looked at the texts.

From Ash: (3)

Adri... we should talk.

Adri please.

I need to talk to you.

Should I text back? Ugh why am I so chicken!

To Ash: okay. When?

From Ash: tonight

To Ash: I have plans but I could probably talk to you before them.

From Ash: oh. okay well meet me at beach around four?

To Ash: k.

I have no clue how I'm gonna get there but I'll figure it out. I slowly went downstairs and was afraid I'd bump into my mom but thankfully she wasn't home. I quickly got a big bag of chips and a sandwich, I was starving.

I sat down, eating my food quickly I looked to the side of me and saw a note on the table. I grabbed it quickly and opened it.

It was from my mom.

Adrianna,

I am not one bit sorry for slapping you last night. You deserved it, why are you acting like this? Is it because your father left? Well I don't care what the reason is.. I don't want this to continue so you better find somewhere else to live or I'm sending you to your dads. I have no other choice. I didn't raise a trouble maker and now you're turning into one. I will no longer allow you to see that boy, he is a very bad influence on you! I don't care if you like this decision or not but you need to pack your things for your dads or a friends house.

Tears were falling from my eyes as I ripped the paper apart and threw it on the ground. Just as I did that the door swung open and there was my mom.

"What the fuck mom!?" I said sobbing.

"Adrianna, I'm doing what's best for you."

"Who are you?! What happened to my loving mom that didn't want to leave my side?"

"I can't live like this anymore! You're getting horrible grades in school, you have no friends, you sneak out of the house, you go and get drunk and bring a boy in the house with you!"

"Wow, you're overreacting! Getting a B in one class isn't getting horrible grades when the rest I'm getting are A's. Can't you just ground me!? You don't need to kick me out! I've been going through a lot lately! First dad leaving, then Kylie, and now you're kicking me out!?" I was now standing up from chair.

"What a fucked up family I have! I don't even have a sibling! Me being born was a mistake cause you and dad both seem not to want me!"

"You both deserve best parents of the year reward." I said sarcastically.

"Adrianna! This is very difficult to do!"

"Obviously its not mom! Not for you! You seem completely fine with this! Maybe its a good thing though I finally can get away from my crazy fucking family!" I screamed at her one last time.
