Chapter 21: I'm Yours

"Wait what?" I just wanted to make sure I wasn't hearing things. He just asked me to be his girlfriend right?

"Adri, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Are you serious?"

"Uh .. yeah, I'm dead serious." He looked really nervous which I kinda wanted to take advantage of and make him suffer longer so I waited to answer for a couple more seconds.

"Of course Ash." I giggled embracing him in a hug. My cheeks were beginning to hurt because I couldn't stop smiling. I've only had one boyfriend my entire life and that was in sixth grade so it doesn't really count. I looked at Ash and could help but noticed he was staring at me.

"What?" I said with a smile laugh.

"Nothing." He simply replied with a smile.

The fireworks finally stopped and it became super quiet. All of the sudden he slipped off he's shoes and socks and rolled up he's jeans.

"What are you doing?"

"Come on, let's go for a walk on the beach." He stood up and held his hand out for me. I grabbed it and he gently pulled me up.

We got closer to the ocean and I couldn't believe that this was our first date and I couldn't stop smiling at the fact that Ash was holding my hand.

The ocean waves crashing on the beach was so relaxing to hear. When the water came up and touched my toes I couldn't help but yelp in surprise of how cold it was. As we were walking I noticed that we were walking in sync. All of the sudden I felt a muscular hand gently turn my face to come in contact with Ash's lips. I could feel him smiling as he gently kissed me feeling electricity all over my body. He lifted me up and I flung my legs up as well keeping them together. He kissed me gently one more time before he began turning us in circles and I couldn't help but laugh. He put me back down and stared at me for a moment.

"Um Adri, I'm really glad that were together now but this is still all new to me. I don't really do relationships and I haven't in a really long time."

"Ash, what are you trying to say?"

"I was wondering if you would be okay keeping are relationship low key."

"You don't want people to know about us?"

"It's not that, I'm just not ready."

"Is it that you're not ready or is it that your embarrassed with people knowing who you're dating?"

"No, Adri not at all! How could I be embarrassed with a girl like you!?"

"Have you seen me?"

"Yes every morning, every afternoon, and every night, and you know what I think?"

"What?"

"I think that your the most gorgeous girl I have ever seen with an amazing personality. Who could ever be embarrassed with a girl like you? I'm just new to this whole relationship thing and I don't want to screw it up."

"Thank you Ash." I said going up on my tippy toes and kissing he's nose.

"I understand if you want to keep it on the down low."

"Just for a couple days, that's it!" Ash said reassuring.

"Remember the time you were singing out loud walking to school?" Ash said laughing.

"How could I forget that was one of the most embarrassing things ever!"

"Oh what about the time you were stuck in the bush or how bout the time were my brothers and I saw you changing that was hilarious!"
