The Choices I Have To Make

Chapter 23

{Not the end of this fanfiction}

Fionna's P.O.V

I was waiting for the nurse to say what was wrong with me.

"Yes Fionna. We know what's wrong with you. Fionna the reason why you felt something move inside of you is that.... Well you have a disease in your stomach. This disease is called Trialpes, it's were the disease attacks your stomach by eating it. Trialpes feeds on your stomach, the acid in your stomach is different than the people in the Candy Kingdom so it only attacks you. Lucky, we can remove this disease with medication and surgery. You will take the medicine we give you for 2 days and then on the third day you will be ready for surgery. For the surgery we will open up you and spray special gas onto your stomach that will kill the disease. You will be out of the hospital the next day," Dr. Princess said.

I stared at her in shock. How did I catch this disease? She looked at me and wrote something on her clipboard.

"You know, Fionna. Do you know how you got this disease?" Dr. Princess asked.

"No, I don't. I didn't even know I had this disease," I replied.

"Well, the weird thing is... someone or something gave you this disease physically and we have only found traces of this disease in the Nightosphere," she said.

I heard Cake gasp from behind me. She must have came in right now.

All of a sudden she said," Fionna was fighting of a vampire from the Nightosphere and it bit her. It must have gave her the disease."

"That makes more sense. I think this vampire had the disease before he bit her without even knowing. Since they are immortal this disease didn't effect them. Fionna, do you want to do this?" She asked.

I blinked my eyes fast and said," Yes! Right away!"

"Ok, I am going to go get the paper work and bring it to you," Dr. Princess said.

She turned to the door she came from and left. Cake turned towards me slowly and looked mad.

"Fionna. I know how you got that disease and who have it to you," she said.

It looked like Cake was going to kill someone. Then Marshall Lee appeared right next to me.

"You!" Cake exclaimed.

"You gave Fionna this disease! You give and take don't you!?" She asked.

"What do you mean?" He asked in a shock.

"You give her this horrible disease and then you take...." She said.

"Take what?" I asked.

"Ugh! Fionna's virginity!" She exclaim.

I gasp. I didn't even know that she knew, but it was true. Cake grabbed Marshall Lee by the throat.

"You are a monster! Look what you did to my little sister!" Cake said.

Marshall Lee stared at her.

"Cake let go of him!" I yelled.

"No! He needs to pay for what he has done," she said.

While all of this was happening Marshall Lee stayed calm.

"You know," he said," if I was a monster then why haven't I killed Fionna! Explain that!"

Cake didn't know what to say. She didn't know why he has not killed me. She let go of Marshall Lee. He was rubbing his, now red, throat.

"I....Fionna. When we get out of this hospital you are to go home and take your medicine for the next two days. I will pick you up for your surgery. I am going over to Lord Monochromicorn's house. I won't tell him about Marshall Lee. Marshall Lee, protect Fionna while I am gone, but I swear to Glob! If you try anything funny with Fionna, I will not let go of your throat next time," she said.

"Got it," he said rubbing his neck.

Dr. Princess came back in and Marshall Lee disappeared. Cake filled out the paper work and handed me my medicine.

"Take one in the morning and one in the evening. Take one right now and then so on. Not tomorrow, but the day after that you come here at 10 in the morning. Don't eat anything the night before the surgery," Dr. Princess said.

"Ok doctor," Cake said.

I ate a pill and got out if the bed. I was wearing a hospital gown, gross. But at least I was clean, they was have gave me a shower when I was knocked out. We walked out of the hospital to meet Prince Gumball, this is embarrassing.

"Hello Fionna," he said.

"Hi PG," I said.

"I heard what happened and I am truly sorry for what happened. We are investigating the crime right now. The Candy Kingdom's security is now more intense. Also, I hope your surgery goes well. By the way, I think you scared off that vampire because everyone is calm in the Candy Kingdom. The people of my kingdom want to thank you for what you did by throwing you a thank you party! The party is the day after your surgery, it starts at 8 p.m," he said.

"Ok PG, can't wait to see you then. Well I am going to the tree house if you need me. Bye," I said with a smile.

"Bye Fionna," he said before turning away to go help out a Candy citizen.

"What a gumwad," Marshall Lee said under his breath.

I laughed a little and turned to Cake.

"Bye honey. Be safe, remember, don't try anything funny," she said.

"Bye Cake," I said.

Cake left and I walked out of the Candy Kingdom. Marshall Lee appeared and looked at me.

Marshall Lee's P.O.V

I looked at Fionna. She had a hospital gown on and her blonde hair was flowing in the wind. Before Cake left she gave me Fionna's backpack, so I held it in my hand.

"Fionna, I am so sorry for giving you something I had. I didn't know I had this disease. I can't believe I gave you this disease," I said.

I felt so bad about myself. Why did I give this to Fionna.

"Marshall Lee, what were you going to say in the hospital? What did you think was wrong with me?" She asked.

"I...um...thought you were....pregnant," I said.

"What!? Pregnant! Why!?" She asked.

"Because what you were feeling sounded like a baby. Any baby with demon in its genes grows at a fast pace, so I thought you were pregnant," I replied.

We got up to the tree house and open the door. We went inside and Fionna looked concerned.

"Marshall Lee, if I was pregnant what would you do?" She asked.

I didn't know what to say. I mean we are, I mean Fionna is to young to have a kid. She is 15 years old and I'm 17 years old, I'm biologically 1017, but that's not the point.

"Well, if you were actually pregnant I would help you out. I would take care of the baby and you because you two would be the most important things in my life," I said smiling.

Fionna started to smile.

"Oh Marshall, I love you," she said.

I pushed her up against the door and kissed her.

Then I pulled away and said," I love you to Fionna."
