Song: Everything She Does is Magic Artist: Sleeping At Last
Hey guys!
Summer has finally come, well at least where I live. It's been extremely nice out and I really enjoy seeing the wildlife come back to life. Spring is my favorite season after all, hahaha! My college is out for a while and I am now starting to look for a job! As for the story, I wanted to give you a two part segment for Garrett and Madeline's past. I truly love writing stories of two people who have continued to love each other as time has continued to pass. It kind of reminds me of the time I spent in elementary school.
The song is one of my favorites because of the words of it. It's pretty amazing how so much can be conveyed through words, just like an artist can draw a picture that expresses a story. Thank you all for still being here with me. I can't believe my story has over 18, 300 reads and and over 600 favorites right now! When I first started writing this story, I just wanted something to do. I had always been a fan of romance novels because they brought me warmth.
As always, feel free to comment or star! I hope to see you in the next part which will be told in Madeline's point of view!

~GARRETT~
"Young Master, do you have everything that you need today? I packed bento boxes for you and Miss Emmerson. Madeline has prepared a wonderful meal inside, so make sure you and her eat your fill and more. Don't let it go to waste." I watched Jaylin place the two bento boxes in the picnic basket.
He really had grown a lot these last few years thanks to Miss Silya who had traveled to Japan just to see him. I watched the basket hang from his two fingers as he managed to also hold it in place with his crutches, I wanted to offer him my assistance, but he was determined to do it on his own. Jaylin ran to the bathroom to check his hair in the mirror once more.
"Garrett, I think I am ready for my first date with Silya." He turned to me and smiled very warmly.
This still took me by surprise. How had my Young Master grown up so much in such a short period of time? His grey eyes sparkled for the first time in a while. Somehow this one girl was able to change his perspective entirely in just a few years. I smiled as I saw him standing in tan shorts and a white plaid shirt. He had hair growing on his legs and there were signs of facial hair growing around his face. He might be able to outgrow me soon!
"Not yet, Young Master." Madeline stepped out of the kitchen with a bouquet of flowers in her hands. "I think if you give these to her, she'll really love them. The language of flowers can express a lot to a girl, especially someone as special as Miss Emmerson!" She handed the bouquet of pink roses and white lilies to him and smiled.
"You guys...are truly the best." I could see Jaylin's eyes sparkle. He smiled really big. I walked over to him and Madeleine. I put my hands on both their shoulders and nodded to Madeline.
This moment would be the first date for our Young Master.
"I know that you will have a good day with her, Jaylin. I am happy to see that you are going to be enjoying yourself today. I already called your school and informed them you would be excused for today and tomorrow from your classes. So, make sure you show her a fun time. We will both be cheering for you!" I pulled him on for a tight hug. He was no longer short, so it was easy for me to hug him.
