Running On Empty

AUTHOR'S NOTES AND OTHER JUNK PART 1

HEY PEOPLE OF THE WORLD!

I thought that I would include a page or so every couple of chapters that is kind of like an corner for myself and other things. So far it's been the first four chapters and I hope at least some people have liked where the story starts off. Honestly, I hate writing rough drafts so I tend to just think and type. That being said, the plot of the story and the characters kind of just popped into my brain one day when I was completly bored out of my mind and listening to Pandora.

I love my characters so far and the events that take place withn this novel can be pretty far fetched and totally outrages, but who cares? Sometimes, stories like this are the best kinds! It's kind of all thanks to my friend who decided to tell me about WattPad and this is my first novel ever, so I hope it goes well. 

The characters can each relate to me in one way to another because I love when I can connect with them. Also, I think that there are people out there that can understand where I'm coming from at times. Sometimes, I wonder if my story drags on, and at other times I get energized to write even more.

In this story, there are two main characters and that would be Silya and Jaylin. I don't exactly know where thoese name came from because to be completly honest, I'm not the kind of person who is really good with coming up with character names. I spend a few days each time I do add another character. Both the teens in this book kind of have a dark childhood background to them.

Silya was honestly supposed to be like a side character when I first thought of her, but then the more I thought aout it, the more I thought this story would be her "momment to shine" kind of thing. She's not a very outgoing person when she's at home with her mom like she is when she meets Jaylin. I think the reason behind that is because she  knows that she has to be the stong person and kind of a teacher because Jaylin doesn't really have any experiences of the real world  yet.

Jaylin is 17 and he's been pretty much locked up after a car hit him. His parents are pretty cautious when it comes to letting him try new things. As parents, they want to keep their kid safe from harm, and that is why they limit him from doing things. The familyis wealthy and have constant parties, but the guests at that party have never really realized that there was someone locked behind a door. Jaylin has a maid that helps him and her name is Madeline. She's around her mid 50's and has been keeping an close eye on Jaylin, spoling him at times due to his parent's strict orders. She has been with the family ever snice the car accident and knows Jaylin very well. To this point, she does not know about Silya yet.

I thank the readers for bearing with me because my grammer and keybording skills still stink a lot. But there is a saying that the more you practce the better you get. If this story has somewhat caught your eye, I am glad that it has and I really hope you contiune to enjoy reading this as much as I have writing it.
